On 3/19/18 I obtained a printout of 2017 dental costs from Vista Dental to use for income tax filing. Upon review of Vista's Single Patient Ledger I saw a credit balance of $325.00 owed to me. I had paid what Vista requested for each treatment without knowledge of being overcharged. On March 20, *** (partner) called them to get confirmation that it was indeed a credit balance. Vista promised that a check would be sent. On April 4, no check had been received so *** called again. They promised to look into it and call by the end of the day. By April 6, Vista had not yet called so *** called and left a message (closed on that day) asking for that return call. It is April 10 and no call has been received from Vista.
The staff attempted to help each time I talked to them. It is clear that Vista, directed by Dr. Donald K, is being non responsive for reasons I do not understand.
I no longer get my dental work there. I have the 3/19/18 Single Patient Ledger showing this if needed.
We did get a call from ***'s boyfriend regarding getting some information for tax purposes. That information was gathered and given to them. *** did call back and say that the ledgers showed a credit on the accounts. I had to do some research on the accounts because there was some discrepancy with what the ledger said and what the overall account said. I had to have *** look into it and call me back. We apologize that it did take awhile but we had to do some research on both accounts and wanted to make sure that what it was showing was correct. I did call *** today to process a refund in the amount of $325.00. We do our very best to handle things in a promptly matter but sometimes it does take awhile to audit an account as this one needed help with *** customer service to help us understand. I will call *** again today by the end of the day if I don't hear back from her.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID. While the reason of delay may have merit, it does not account for non responsiveness and lack of follow up on the part of the business. It took almost 2 months to get a refund. This is certainly a long long delay. However, the matter has been satisfactorily resolved with the receipt of the money.

I was told that that had been on my account since 2014 and they did not know from what. I asked that they look into it. On April 4, I called about it again. This time they said it was no longer on my patient ledger. I asked for an explanation. They said they would look into it and call me back by the end of the day.
