Per Voicemail from [redacted] she stated that she has talked with *** and they have resolved the issue
To whom this may concern: As we stated in the previous letter patient declined all warranty to the lense and frame products at the time of purchaseWe always give a day satisfactionWhen he purchased the product in the end of July he did return due to a lens that he chipped
in September to be replacedWe did replace that lens at that timeMr*** was aware that he didn't purchase any warranties and should do so, in case he dropped the glasses, sat on them, or etc he would have a warrantyHe declined to do soWhen returning in december to the store he told us that he dropped the glasses cause the lense to breakThis is why we don't feel any obligation to replace the lense at no costHe was given the option to replace the lense at half cost of the total purchase price and he told us he would let us knowWe then recieved this letter from Revdex.comWe always pride ourselves in working with our customers, and would still work with Mr***But we don't feel that we should pay for glasses based on what he stated to the staff. Thanks Melly ***
I am rejecting this response because: Eyewear was returned in September because the left lense began to chip around the perimeter of the frame due to poor fit of the lense to the frame/too tightI had nothing to do with this failure in workmanship of whoever fit the lense to the frameWhen December incident happened eyewear were being worn with a lanyard and were NOT dropped as allegedThe right lense retaining screw, having not been secured with a thread lock compound, left the frame, releasing the lense and dropping it to the hard surface floorThis is the truth, it is what actually happened, and it is what was conveyed to the vendor face to faceI am confused as to where their accounts of the September and December incidents have come fromI was not responsible for chipping the lense in September and I did not drop the eyewear in DecemberMy wife *** worked in an Optical Studio for years, sales, fitting, service so we know a little bit about what we speakIt is becoming obvious that this provider, selected for convenience and recommended by my opthamologist, was a poor choice on my partTheir unwillingness to stand behind their product and or workmanship is disappointing to say the leastI will have a replacement lense made elsewhere and convey this experience to my friends, off which I have manySocial Media is a wonderful thing
