This email is in response to Complaint ID *** against Virtual Education Software, inc(VESi) filed by *** *** in August
Ms*** is not being honest about her failing
grade for the Behavior is Language course she took through VESiMs*** earned a failing grade for significant plagiarism and not submitting original work on course essaysMs*** admitted this and also admitted that she did so for the other two courses she completedHer defense was that she didn’t get caught by the other two professors so why was she being failed for plagiarism for this course
Ms*** did contacted Augustana University, but again she is not providing accurate information about the results of her academic reviewThe Dean of Graduate Studies and the Vice President of Academic Affairs were both sent copies of Ms***’s writing assignments and an academic review was completedThe decision was that the failing grade was warranted based on her plagiarism
Ms*** then called her bank and tried to get a refund for the course even though she was provided all necessary services to complete the courseHer bank did no support or allow a refund
Ms*** then called VESi’s registrar’s office and using foul language threatened to sue the company if we did not change her grade and refund her money
Her claim about the courses not being graded by live individuals is baseless and actually makes no senseIf essays were automatically graded then how could she have passed her first two courses when she clearly plagiarized essays for these two? The professors grading these courses missed the plagiarism while I, as the professor for BIL, did not
A student who also cheated, got caught and would not accept responsibility for her actions, filed the singular report with Ripoffrepost.com back in
VESi courses are complete by almost 10,students per year and close to 90% complete the courses successfully (earn a passing grade)Less than 2% of students completing course evaluations list negative aspects of courses or service supportVESi has maintained a 98% over above approval rating from students since tracking began in 2004, which in the education field is exceptional
In the past five years VESi has only dealt with two extreme students who failed courses for cheating and refused to take ownership for their actionsMs*** continues to ignore and minimize the fact that she failed the course for cheating, period
Ms***’s claims of mistreatment have not been supported by VESi’s faculty and executive teams, Augustana University’s administration and her own bank The Revdex.com should not support such baseless claimsclaims of this nature should end up on shady sites such as Ripoffreport.com where individuals with baseless claims can go to vent and no investigation is completed

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: Mick J***'s accounts are all false I have attached supporting documentation to prove it I attached screen shots of every email correspondence I had with him and the Vice President of Graduate and Continuing Education at Augustana University, the letter I wrote to the Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs and the Vice President of Graduate and Continuing Education at Augustana University, the Essay Grading Guidelines, and the course Addendum Please read all of that correspondence carefully You will see the lies and inconsistencies in MrJ***'s stories
I would also like to address the lies in his response to the Revdex.com First, I did not ever claim to submit original work for my essays I had to use the text material for the answers due to the nature of the questions I did not realize I had to cite the text I thought it would be understood that I used it since we had to In other courses I may have done the same I received A's in my other courses and no one ever told me that I was completing the class incorrectly Certainly, I should not be penalized for courses that I already completed, nor should I be accused of plagiarizing those courses Never once did I say, "I didn't get caught." I do not use that language or speak that way Please refer to my email to see the exact wording
Second, MrJ*** claims that my course materials were forwarded to Augustana University and implied they had anything to do with the decision of keeping my failing grade Clearly, that is incorrect DrJ***, Vice President of Graduate and Continuing Education, clearly stated in several email correspondences that the decision to change a grade lies with VESi, not Augustana, and he would support whatever decision that VESi made MrJ*** failed to use professional discretion, and went against everything that education stands for I made numerous attempts to try and improve my grade, but all he wanted to do was admonish me He was extremely rude and unprofessional He lied about contacting certain individuals at Augustana, and when I copied them on an email, MrJ*** become defensive and vindictive
Third, I NEVER called the "registrar's office" at VESi using foul language threatening to sue them if they did not change my grade There is no registrar's office anyway They have a secretary who enrolls you in classes Again, it's a software company
In closing, I hope that the Revdex.com will review all of my supporting documentation, and they will see how rudely and unfairly I was treated Mick J*** is a deplorable business person No one deserves to be treated the way I was I am a year teacher with a Master's Degree and credits beyond I was looking to further my education and advance in my career I never meant to do anything illegal or to plagiarize It was an oversight on my part, and I wanted to fix my mistake Instead, I suffered significant financial loss and extreme stress and anxiety
