While the company head person (Jermaine C) was working at the *** he was the director of sales. Me and my fiance booked our hotel reservations through him and while doing so also booked a shuttle service. His shuttle service was a third party entity called V.I.P. SHUTTLE L.L.C. We booked the shuttle and paid the invoice on 5/14/2018 of $549.00 for a 15 passenger shuttle service on date 12/31/2018. We never signed contract with him and only received a *** invoice from the transaction. Jermaine since left the *** and our communication has been very limited and we did not know he left until we reached out at the end of November. I was uneasy about the service and requested some more documentation for validation of the service and he sent me unsigned documents of credit card authorization forms and a contract on 12/5/18. Due to the uncertainty of the service and lack of communication I requested a refund due to not wanting to use his service any longer. He told me that he made a verbal agreement with my fiance when we booked the service and that it was non refundable.
I have made repeated attempts to inquire about a refund and he told me that he could not comply with that. There is no written agreement that a refund should not be awarded and even on the documents he sent me, it states that "Cancellations within 14 days of reservation will be charged 100% to the credit card on file". I requested the refund more than 14 days before the service date, although the documents were never signed.
