Company's response below:From: Vintage House Market < [redacted] >Date: Sat, Jan 27, 2018 at 8:16 PMSubject: Id# [redacted] To: [redacted] To whom it may concern: [redacted] is entitled to her money, however, since there was/is no contract in place, there was/is no specific... pay date as to when she would receive her funds. I explained to her that due to banking issues, I wasnt able to give her an exact date as to when she would recieve her funds, although I did say it would most likely be the week of 1/14/18. However, I still had banking issues at that time which did not allow me to pay her that week. I do believe that she misunderstood this and thought I had said I would pay her Monday 1/15/18. She began texting me and threatening me with legal action on Monday 1/15/18 stating that she demanded her payment that day and was coming by the store to get it! I did not respond to the hostile message as I felt very uncomfortable with the manner in which the text was worded. Since I did not respond to the threatening text, she made a formal complaint to the BBB. Nevertheless, she and I have worked out a payment arrangement that is satisfactory to her and I, therefore, we have resolved this issue. If I can be of further assistance, please advise. [redacted]
