Review: My car became mechanically disable;ed at above address and business where my son helped business owner [redacted]. I told the owner I preferred he work on my car and paid him half down to fix my car. $800.-Almost 1 week went by with NO work being done to my car,my son jumped in and tried to help repair( [redacted] knowing this as [redacted] had my son repair many cars at that location) [redacted] then told me after the week that they tried to remove bolts and they snapped in my engine that It would be cheaper for him to replace the motor then to machine bolts out and fix. I was assuming HE would pay for it because it was IN HIS GARAGE and under his guidance the damage happened. I told him to just refund my $800.- that I would take it elsewhere to get it fixed since he caused MORE damage then when I brought it in. NOT once was I told I would have to pay for motor until 2 days later. I scrambled to get money together to buy a motor(used and had it delivered to his shop.It took 1 more week and threats from my husband but I finally got my car back. Upon driving it for a 15 miles on the highway the transmission started to NOT shift right. I pulled over and at that point noticed by transmission fluid was to the point of needing almost 3 quarts to get it safe mark.. The engine oil was leaking out as well.I also pointed out scratches on my bumper to the owner who said" they were there" NO THEY WERE not!I have been very careful with my auto and drove it last 3 days before it was disabled. transmission shifted free and clear!Desired Settlement: If this is not settled with the Revdex.com I plan on taking legal action & costs to be able to get my vehicle back in running condition the same as it was BEFORE I brought it into this garage.I am hurt& TRULY disgusted in this whole matter.I asked him and TOLD him to NOT let anyone work on my truck,he BLANTANTLY went against my wishes, and let my son who is NOT certified but another individual Brandon who is NOT certified work on my truckCompensation to repair damaged transmission& money $2,500

At this time, I have not been contacted by Vintage High Performance Auto regarding complaint ID [redacted].
There has been additional problems with the installation of the engine which cost me over $650.- whereas I have documentation thereof.
