Review: I contracted with Village Tile to retile my kitchen floor. On June*, 2013, they deposited my check for $1,000.00 as a deposit on this work. I was told the tiles would be bre ought and the owner would storfe them in his warehouse since I had to reschedule the work on two separate occasions. I was assureed by the owner, [redacted], that this was not a problem. Work was to finally start on Monday, July [redacted]. No one showed up to start the project. I called several times and left messages on the answering machine. I was not contacted. I continued to call all that week and now this week. I have reached the answering machine but have not been called back. When I [redacted] name, I found a report of [redacted]; Flathead, filing for Chapter 7, attorney [redacted]. I went to the store but there wasn't anyone there.Desired Settlement: I would like my $1,000.00 deposit returned.
