Review: On May 1*, 2013 I purchased a Lifebooker Loot certificate for a Classic Mani-Pedi at Village Nails and Spa for a Mother's Day gift for my daughter who lives in New York.When she went to the Village Nails and Spa to redeem her certificate, the salon personnel told her I had come in and used the certificate. That was a fabrication. I live in Miami and I have never gone to the Village Nails and Spa.I sent repeated emails to Lifebooker where the gift certificate was purchased and ask it to investigate when the gift certificate with the LOOT Number:[redacted] was redeemed and who signed it.They never answered any of my emails. Lifebooker is an online company that provides New York Deals offers from certain businesses and Village Nails and Spa agreed to give the service to customers who purchased the certificate.My daughter had the Loot Certificate downloaded from the link Lifebooker provided when she went in to redeem her certificate and it was then that the salon staff person claimed I had come in and used the certificate.I would appreciate it if you would look into this matter for me. the amount of the gift certificate was $25.00. I want a refund because the person never received the service.The offer came from an online ad from [redacted] referred to as a Lifebooker Loot.
