respond and the facility was denied authorization by Ms, [redacted]. At that time further explanation was offered to Ms. [redacted] that due to HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act-Privacy Rule) we would need to have her permission in order to respond to the complaint she filed. Ms. [redacted] stated she would not give consent, It is our wish to be compliant and seek resolution as Life Care Center of Scottsdale values the opportunity to address concerns and more importantly resolve concerns in an acceptable manner for those we serve.
