Ms*** has been in contact with the Bank since December regarding her request to be added as a signer on an account for which she asserts that she is the attorney-in-fact for the accountholder The Bank, along with its outside counsel, reviewed the account history and the power of attorney, and after careful review and consideration of all the facts involved, the Bank declined to accept the power of attorney and Ms***’s request to be added as a signer on the account The Bank believes that declining to accept the power of attorney is the best course of action in order to fulfill any duties it may have to the accountholder and to protect all partiesGenerally, the Bank only accepts a Statutory Durable Power of Attorney in the form promulgated in the Texas Estates CodeThe power of attorney form submitted by Ms*** is not a Statutory Durable Power of AttorneyTherefore, on numerous occasions, the Bank has suggested that Ms [redacted] obtain a guardianship over the accountholder so that the Bank could rely on a Court order to allow her access to the funds, which Ms [redacted] indicated she would obtain

There there is no legal reason for this bank to refuse my access to the account in order to take care of my uncle's Affairs which he himself cannot do
