On 5/33/2020 I hired Dwight D Fiero under the business name War Cry Contracting. I have Mr. Fiero a deposit of $3750 to build a deck, install a header under a main deck and replace side stairs. After review of Mr. Fiero's work it was clear the wrong materials where used and the quality of work was not what was advertised. Concerned further work from Mr. Fiero would create more problems he was asked to leave and I requested a full refund for breach of contract since he was unable to complete the promised results due to lack of knowledge. After inspection from 3 other professional it was determined Mr. Fiero used the incorrect materials. Mr. Fiero also used a photo of my main deck which he no hand in building on his social media sites as his own work. I have formally send a request for a full refund.
Upon further investigation I have learned Mr. Fiero also goes by Veteran's contracting, War Cry Contracting, Veteran's Painting and Battle Scarred contracting.
I have documentation on all above claims and am happy to share them.
Business Advised Revdex.com: She got a reverse on her credit card, got full reimbursement, and a free deck
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. After several attempts to resolve this issue with the contractor. I did contact my credit card company and filed a fraud claim since the contractor claimed to know how to build a deck and purchased the wrong material such as indoor framing instead of pressure treated. This contractor also took pictures of my orginal deck and posted it under his website claiming it as his own. I had to pay another contractor to take this deck down as it was unsafe and not at all by code. The *** decking had so many holes it was unuseable. I certainly did NOT get a FREE deck in any way shape or form. Beware....... Regards
On 10/1/2019 I signed a contract with Veteran's Painting and Contracting for snow removal services for the 2019-2020 season. The contract included snow removal to be completed for every 3 inches of accumulated snow. I paid the owner $550, full payment, on 10/1/19 via check, which was cashed on 10/2/19. On 12/1/19 the first significant snowfall occurred in which snow removal services would have been required. Approximately 18" of snow fell on this date. I contacted David F, owner, on 12/1/19 to remind him of our contract, and again on 12/2/19. Between 12/1/19 and 12/2/19 approximately 24" of snow accumulated. Mr. F did not come once to address my driveway, as per our contract. I contacted Mr. F on 12/2/19 at 5:15PM and asked him to return my money as he had breached our contract. I asked that he send a check to my home address within two weeks. To date, I have not heard from Mr. F and he did not return my payment which was given to him for services which he did not render. I have found evidence online, of several other people which report Mr. F has not completed services as per their contracts, as well.
She paid with a credit card and funds were returned to her card
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The information provided by Mr. F is not accurate. I provided full payment by personal check on 10/1/19. As of 2/3/20, I have not been reimbursed by Mr. F, as he indicated. I continue to require a full refund of $550 for services which were not provided.
I payed $600 for driveway to be plowed. Never plowed. Came 1c when I was stuck for 3 hours at midnight. Took deposit for $875 for work to be done, never did work.
They have been paid back in full
