Vestwell

The company that bought the company that I worked for took the liberty of placing all of my IRA into the hands of this unknown organization. Upon further investigation I have found claims of being "Empowered by technology" and " See how we’ve designed a platform to revolutionize the way ... individuals plan for their future"

This all couldn't be more disjointed from the truth. Not once in the past 7 months that I've had my money in their hands have I been able to speak with a human being, or even a robot for that matter.

When calling, I'm told they are busy "assisting other customers". It's funny to think how those customers all ever got through to anyone considering the message immediately following is an unpleasant sounding individual telling me to leave a message. I have left several. I have still not received any call back or response.

Considering these people are supposed to be managing hundreds of thousands of dollars of your money and can't manage to take a single phone call or call back, I would say avoid at all costs. Better off going with tried and true Fidelity. Hell even the abominable TransAmerica does a better job at replying back, even if their only goal is to keep you from making decisions about your assets.

Do not use Vestwell. This business belongs where their customer service currently exists - no where.
