We listed our house with Dan [redacted] of Action Sales Group based on a recommendation from a friend. Though our friend recommended Dan, she did so with a "notice" of his style. Dan is indeed an experienced salesman and charmed us with his polished portfolio and business/realtor lingo. He was smooth...and we were hooked. But after we listed with him, his affect changed a bit and he wasn't as friendly or easy to work with. In fact, it became more difficult to correspond with Dan b/c he became a bit "sharp" and patronizing in his tone with us when we asked about particular aspects of how our house was being marketed or suggested different wording for the listing, and how things were going, in general. When I saw his phone number pop up on my screen, I would cringe before answering. And I would have to psych myself up before talking to him - as if I was going into a meeting with our adversary. Were we on the same side? Sometimes I wondered. Our house sold eventually, at a $30,000 loss - but it wasn't an easy or pleasant process when it came to working with Dan from Action Sales Group. Quite frankly, I wish we had gone with the realtor who was our agent when we bought the house.
We started working with [redacted] from Action Sales Group and immediately loved her. She was very helpful, punctual and knowledgeable (or so we thought). Very VERY early on in the process, we made the decision to rescind our offer. [redacted] did not inform us of a legal document that we needed to complete in order to be released of our contract which in turn led us to be sued by the seller. Had we filled out this form (or even been made aware of it), we could have saved thousands of dollars in lawyer/settlement fees. She went dark when the lawsuit began to take place and we did not hear from her at all after that. She seems much more concerned about the money versus helping the customer and maintaining that relationship.
