Responding to complaint # [redacted] We tried to contact the customer by phone after receiving your letterI left a voice message with my phone number and e mail address on her machine .The last message I left was on Sunday July 30th 2017.W have not heard back from the customer yet.I am assuming the customer found the item in question , (as sometimes people lose things on trips , and then later they turn up) , or she would have returned my callsWe also have not had anyone leave any items behind on the counter recentlyThis we would notice as the counter is not that big .My store is open days a week .Always from 9AM to PM , but in reality we are usually open at 8:30AM and do not close until or PM , That is days a week We can not always answer our phone , but there is an answering machine on the line , which I tested just to make sure it worksI am not sure why this person was unable to contact us[redacted] Vermont Gift and gardenRT Mendon Vt [redacted]

I have not received a phone call (see attached phone log) on said date and time The windspinner was quite large and would have stood out on the counter, it did not fit into the bagThere was a man at the cash registerThe phone number on the website and on the receipt did not work - it did not connect to an answering machine, which is why I sought help in reaching the businessI requested the spinner be mailed to me or the money refundedNeither has happened, so I do not accept this response

Revdex.com,Following up on complaint [redacted]I left 3 messages on the phone number you provided . [redacted].It was under customer information on the letter you sent. Customer claims she never got any messages. I was able to leave voice mails on that number. I am not sure if the number you provided is wrong , or if the woman's voice mail does no work properly or if she simply chose not to return my calls . I was finally able to contact her by e mail. She thinks she left  a large spinner on the counter at our store.We did not find a sunflower wind spinner abandoned on our counter.It would have been noticeable as it is about 2 feet high. It would have been kind of hard  to miss.Had this happened , we would have shipped it to her if we thought it was our mistake.I am not even positive if that was one of the items that she purchased . I asked her for a copy of the itemized receipt and she claims not to have one.She only provided the receipt for the whole sale ( the credit card receipt) . At the register we provide the customers with a register receipt (which is  itemized) and a credit card trans action receipt which only has the gross amount of the sale.If I wanted to verify exactly what was purchased I would need that receipt.For all I know she could have intended on buying it and never did. So to date I had 3 phone calls go unanswered ,the itemized receipt was not provided, The customer claims that she could not get in touch with anyone at a business that is open 7 days a week and has an answering machine on the line.and has told me not to contact her unless it is with payment. below is the e mail conversation that we had. [redacted],My name is [redacted] , I am with Vermont Gift and Garden in Mendon Vt 05701.I am e mailing you because I previously tried to reach you by phone 3 times . All times I left a message .The last time was today Friday August 11th 2018.You are claiming that our number has not been working  . I tested it a few times this week and it seems to be working perfectly. We are open from at least 9AM till 7 PM  days a week. You said that you purchased a sunflower at our store . I would need a little of a better description of the item in question. You said it was $39.99 , does it stake into the ground , was it wood , metal fabric? What else did you purchase that day.A phone call would be helpful.I will be in most of the day tomorrow if you would like to contact us .I will also be in every day this week .[redacted]Vermont Gift and Garden4498 rt 4 , Mendon VT 05701[redacted]

The business is only representing themselves in the response. I have provided the requested information and have not received an adequate response. I have been questioned and questioned and am being treated as if I am dishonest or made a mistake. I would not have pursued this complaint venue if the phone number worked. I have even provided call logs from my landline and cell phone that show no incoming calls or messages from Vermont.  Response sent Aug 12.  Dear [redacted], I have not received any phone calls or voicemails from Vermont. I have 2 phone numbers - a landline and cell phone - and can check the incoming call list. Note that while you sign this email "[redacted]" the email address is "[redacted]." I purchased a large sunflower spinner, which would hang vertically, which was intended for my mother. It was nylon.  It was $39.99. It was hanging from a display when I entered the store on the left.  It did not fit into the white plastic shopping bag. I am certain I do not have it because I took a photo of the 2 Vermont sweatshirts I purchased once I was in my car to send to my daughter. The spinner is not in the picture. I also purchased maple syrup, maple candy and a VT license plate. In fact, the male clerk made a comment that he had not cleaned off the counter yet, there was garbage included a half empty water bottle on the counter. Ironically, I remember all these details but forgot the spinner on the counter. I have tried to call the phone number on the receipt and on the website; there is no answer. I have tried from several phone - my landline, cell phone and work phone to ensure it was not a problem on my end.As stated, I would like the spinner mailed to me or refunded.   Also sent August 12:I am not having trouble with my voicemail, and the incoming phone log which is different from voicemail, does not show any calls from Vermont. I initially contacted Revdex.com because I could not contact YOU on your phone. I do not have an itemized receipt, only the one attached. I visited your shop and drove home. I made one stop to get gas and didn't remove anything from the car. I did not lose it in my travels. If you do not wish to refund me or send me the spinner, please cease contacting me. The complaint will remain unresolved. I have been cooperative and have made this request several times.   Thank you.
