Velazco's Concrete Resurfacing

We recently had Velazco's Concrete Resurfacing redo our driveway and patio areas and are very pleased with the results. The surfaces had been painted and were restored to the original concrete before the new coating was applied. [redacted] crew were respectful and hard working and made every attempt to make things comfortable for us while the work was in progress. [redacted] worked with us personally to make sure that the colors were right and the work was up to the standards that we expected. We were impressed with his integrity and would recommend his company to our friends without any hesitation.

Review: On 09/28/10 [redacted] repaired and re-stained our pool deck with a warranty of one year labor and materials pealing and three years total on material pealing. One area that was repaired bubbled up and [redacted] repaired a second time on 02/14/12. We noticed the same area bubbled up again over a month ago. Our first call to [redacted] on 04/29/13 he stated he would be in the [redacted] area and would stop by within a week, however, he did not show up nor returned our other calls on 05/06/13, 05/08/13, and 05/16/13.Desired Settlement: We would like to have this issue permanently resolved.

The problem we had with this concrete was that it had moisture. That was the reason why I was flaking off. I had repair one time before about a year ago I apply a moisture guard coating but it continue to peal. This last time I repaired it by removing about 16 inches of concrete by seven feet of concrete. That was the section that was bad. Everything else was good except for that small section. I re pour the concrete and re coated and painted with same color. I explain what the problem was to the homeowner and we decided that this was the best option to fix the problem. The homeowner was pretty satisfied with the repair I did. I believe this will take care of the problem as far as the moisture is concerned everything else in the patio was good.
