Review: Greg V[redacted] started building my house over two years ago. Over the last six months he did absolutely no work on my house. The ground around the house has not been excavated and graded properly. Water accumulates around the foundation. The outside of the house (stone, stucco, siding) has not been completed. The house is rapidly deteriorating and we already discovered mold in the house. The value of my house decreased due to Mr. Vannatta's inactivity. We contacted Mr. Vannatta on multiple occasions. In July 2014 Mr. Vannata promised to complete the work on the house in 2 months and he did nothing. On October 8 Mr. Vannatta said he would start excavating right away and he did nothing. Fawn Lake Forrest Association is going to fine me because the outside of the house was supposed to be completed within 1 year. I also have issues with Citizens Savings Bank who hold the mortgage on my house because the construction phase was supposed to be completed within 6 months and its been over two years. When we contact Mr. Vannatta, he either ignores us or tells us that he worked on a different house and plans to work on our house right away and does nothing. Mr. Vannatta's behavior is very unethical.Desired Settlement: Greg V[redacted] has to complete the work on my house. All additional expenses associated with removing the mold and paying fines should be at Vannatta Builders' expense.
