The owner has not contacted me or the repair shopI will pursue with legal actions against there bonding company
The tires were recalled but they were also light duty truck tires and this was clearly a heavy duty truck so in...
retrospect, the truck had the wrong load range tires on it. The dealership agreed to reimburse us for 2 of the tires and they later recanted their offer because we requested to be refunded for the bogus warranty that we were sold. They also agreed to reimburse us for the oil cooler, which was damaged and they did not want to reimburse for the necessary parts to have the job done correctly - only wanted to half-do the job, which is customary with this place. They even had the wrong oil filter on the truck when it left them and would not pay for the right one to be replaced. The warranty company informed me that the dealership was aware they do not warranty diesel trucks with over 100k miles on them but they "sold" us the warranty regardless and then held our refund for over 2 weeks. They also held our title and when I received it in the mail after 8 weeks, the lien had been released back in September so they had the title but were refusing to give it to us. I told the owner that we would now be faced with a penalty for late registration because of him refusing to send the title for over 20 days and he told me that he would alter the date on the paperwork to keep us from being charged the penalty and late fees for the registration. I advised him that was illegal and I refused his offer. I would prefer to pay the penalties and late fees rather than alter legal documents and a vehicle title and break the law. This dealership has proven they are not honest in several ways and I am not the only one who has experienced problems with them. They still owe for the remainder of the parts they agreed to pay for, the 2 tires they agreed to pay for and the late fees and penalties on my title.
We believe we have resolved this complaint.
