Valley Boys Auto Sales Reviews (%countItem)

Valley Boys auto sold me a Dodge Ram that turned out to be a "Wet Title" truck that was reported as a vehicle theft out of Canada. The owner became super abusive after I accused him of this, and had his employees threaten me in voice mails and text messages. He said he was going to have me arrested, and I knew something was up. So I drove the truck to my local police department and had them start investigating. That is when we discovered not only was the truck NOT US emissions that it also had been salvaged and flooded. They will not provide you with a CAFAX or AutoCheck here for a reason. The owner claims to be a good Christian man, I just sense another Kenneth Copland.

I had traded in MY 2013 Land Rover LR4 that I signed off on, and released the liability in CA for and started paperwork on the truck. THEY STOLE MY CAR. THEY WILL NOT LET ME COME GET IT, and since my Land Rover was new and did not have plates they are EXPLOITING me and the FINANCE CO SANTANDER to not be able to get the car. As of this morning I am filing a lawsuit against them, and I am suing for the maximum legal in the state. I have all the voicemails, and I am also applying for a restraining order.

Since they lied to my air force recruiter than I bounced a check I am suing for 1 Million dollars for defamation of character and false statements, and VIOLATION of FCRA.

came into our dealership wanting to buy a 12 Dodge Ram truck. He had a Land Rover that he wanted to trade in. He had no registration or temporary permit showing ownership. He filled out a credit application and we submitted it to Reliable Credit but they turned him down. We also submitted it to Southern Cascades Finance and they said they would approve the loan if he could prove his income. He could not produce the proof of income that he claimed. No paperwork was done and no contract was completed. The purchase priced quoted to him was $24975 not $28,995.

He brought us a check for $5,000 but we did not cash it because we did not have a bank approval on a deal. The check did not look real. We called Tri Counties Bank because their routing number was on the check. My finance manager was told by a bank representative that it was not a valid account.

He took our vehicle on a test drive and never returned. We found out that he was in California when we received a phone call from the California State Police.

We reported our 12 Dodge Ram truck stolen to the Medford Police Department on 10-10-19. The CASE/CAD# *** lists the incident as unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and fraud. The police came to our dealership, and picked up the $5,000 check as evidence. We are attaching a copy of the report and request form.

The Tri Counties bank specialist on this case is ***. The phone number is 530-898-0300 ***. She sent us a report regarding the check. She states that it appears to have been printed on a personal computer that appears to have been created using a basic word document program and printed on purchased blank check stock. The MICR line is not consistent with how a MICR line should look and the account number on the check is at least three digits off from any valid account that *** has held at Tri Counties Bank. She sent documentation that he had attempted to pay other merchants with the same account number as the check provided to Valley Boys Auto Sales and was returned to the merchant as unable to locate account. We are attaching copies of the documentsand correspondence from the bank.

The 12 Dodge Ram was purchased from Dealer's Auto Auction in Nampa, Idaho. It is true that this truck was from Canada. But as far as "wet", there is no terminology in the car business. Gray market, I am sure the *** was thinking of, is when vehicles are brought in without customs verifying that all US requirements are met. This truck has a importers sticker in the door jam, no history of flood, accident of any kind. What *** was really doing at the police in California was trying to scam a trip permit as he had taken our vehicle without permission and was driving our truck illegally. We subscribe to "Autocheck" and are attaching a copy.

We are also attaching all of the text correspondence with *** asking him for our truck to be returned and arrangements for him to pick up his vehicle.

He finally returned our vehicle after closing hours by abandoning it at a neighboring business with the doors unlocked and the keys in it. Central Avenue is downtown and very busy with foot traffic and our vehicle could have been stolen again.

Progressive Insurance sent an investigator out to inspect his vehicle. We are enclosing the email stating that the claim was closed.

*** is an upset, scared young man that is throwing a temper tantrum because his scam did not work at my business. He also is concerned because maybe this time he will be held responsible for his actions.

Valley Boys has had no customer issues since we purchased this business 6 years ago and we will always follow the law and protect ourselves as much as possible from criminals, scam artists, etc. This is just fall out from standing our ground and legally filing a complaint with the police so that *** cannot threaten other businesses this way.

Customer Response • Nov 12, 2019

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I have hired legal counsel to pursue Medford BMW.

I am NOT taking any legal action against VALLEY BOYS AUTO LLC. I authorize them to release if not already done, the Land Rover LR4 to Medford BMW. Or they can sell the car at auction. I however will not be picking up the car, and the lender Santander and Medford BMW are well aware of this as I have called, emailed, and sent registered letters several times.

Best Regards
