I took my sewing machine to the above company to be repaired. Repairs were not completed and the owner will not return my sewing machine.I took my sewing machine to Vacuum outlet to be repaired. I was told that he had someone coming in the following week that will complete the repairs. I waited 3 months. When I call the owner [redacted] and asked about the status of the sewing machine. He stated the person who does the repairs has not worked on it, and he said he wasn't sure if he would be back. I told him I would come and pick up the machine. He told me he would call me when he got to the office. I never received a phone call from him. I decided to go to the business and pick up my machine and take it somewhere else to have it repaired. When I arrived at the location the building was completely empty. At no time did he ever indicate to me he was moving, or closing his business. When I called him he did not answer. He finally text me that night, complaining about the time of my 3rd unanswered phone call. He was rude and abusive. He would not give me a date or time when my machine will be returned to me. He said that he has left town and will not tell me when he will return and given me my sewing machine. Desired SettlementI want my machine back. He should return it ASAP. I really don't understand why someone would hold onto items that do not belong to him, and take them out of town with him. He has made no effort toward giving me back my machine.
Vacuum Outlet has my portable fireplace in their possession for repair. They have not responded to my email or phone calls regarding pick up by meA portable fireplace (electric) that I have owned for a number of years stopped working . I called the company I purchased it from and they directed me to Vacuum Outlet of Sanford, N.C. They took it in on November 11th saying it would probably be ready in a week. I wasn't getting a response to my phone call inquiries. The sign on the door of their shop on Tramway Rd said they had moved. I called the [redacted] in Sanford and was told that company had "gone mobile."I sent an email, stating I wanted to pick up the fireplace . I have received no response to date.I have not paid as I don't know the charges. They had told me it would be in the 100.00$ range.Desired SettlementI just want my fireplace back whether it's repaired or not.The owner called us last we and we picked up the fireplace heater. Thank you for your assistance.
