I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Per the contract and emails provided, the units should be rented in order of registration and the one time fee covers ALL marketing. Additional VIP services should not be required to properly market nor should there be a priority for those who pay more for more marketing.
I demand a refund only to satisfy my complaint.

Review: Vacation Time Rental, CEO [redacted], business is to rent time share weeks for timeshare owners, most notably at Grand Mayan Resorts as shown on their website. I paid a 1 time advertising fee as stated in their contract on 10/14/2014. [redacted] stated there was approximately a +/-3 month timeline to get my units rented. I have heard no response whatsoever from [redacted] or his company until I contacted them today, 8/26/2015, nearly a year later. At this time he responded with a template email stating times are tough for rentals and to have a chance at renting the unit he is pulling serious time share rental owners in a VIP group to do more marketing at a cost of $199. Quote from his email "If you are interested in really seeing a rental return on your investment we are suggesting that you join our VIP Group asap."
The original contract stated my my obligation was a 1 time marketing fee of $349. Now the company is not living up to the agreement and is providing an ultimatum that I need to pay additional money to have a chance of renting my units with no guarantee of return.
Additionally- the welcome letter states units are rented on a first come first serve basis, Not extra pay to play whenever the company wants to ask for more money.Desired Settlement: Refund of original $349 and cancellation of contract.
