Boat World offered to preform additional services as requested at no additional chargeCustomer did not give us the opportunity to do soHad the customer given us the opportunity there would have been no additional charge, and he would have received another a second service also worth over
$Customer was not willing to wait for a second check overAlthough the boat could have been the next one to move into the shop, it was taken off the premisesThere are very few if any marine service centers that are able to do on the spot repairs, it takes time to move units in and out

I am rejecting this response because: I did not ask for a general boat/motor inspection I specifically asked for a compression and diagnostic check (via computer to check for warning engine codes) I was told on the phone before bringing the boat to Used Boat World that they could perform those services Those are the EXACT same services I asked for when I dropped the boat off and I got no indication that the services I asked for could/would not be done.When I went to pick up the boat, Used Boat World DID NOT perform either service as requested, and instead performed a general inspection which IS NOT what I asked for They did offer to do a compression check, but not at the time I was picking up the boat, they wanted me to BRING IT BACK AT A LATER DATE! I could not do that as my son was taking the boat to Kansas the next day for a week long fishing tournament I had just purchased the boat and needed a compression & diagnostic check BEFORE my son used it for the week, in case there was something wrong It does me NO GOOD to bring the boat back after using it for the week, so I ended up buying a compression tester that same night and doing it myself.I should not have to pay for services I did not ask to be performed!
