Review: After sending information and money to USA Home Relief, I was contacted by Ms. [redacted], Senior Negotiator. We communicated by email and telephone, on 02/18/2010 she informed me that my file was currently being reviewed by HSBC MORTGAGE SERVICES, INC. On March 5, 2010 she informed me that she contacted HSBC and they have advised her my file is currently being reviewed. There is usually no new updates until they make a decision or if they need new updated documents. She will follow up with them again in 2 weeks. I know things are tough but you should try to make your payments if possible. April 5, 2010, she spoke to HSBC and they are asking for the following items: 2 most recent paystubs, 2010 awards letter and 1 most recent bank statement. On March 25, 2010, I was informed that when there is a sale date on the property, the property will go on auction and at that point it's a public auction and anyone can go there. But, as she stated before there is no sale date on the property and no need to worry at this time. They will eventually place a sale date on the property and if they have not made a decision to grant the loan modification or not, they will in turn postpone the sale date until they are able to make the decision on the file. May 11, 2010, Ms. [redacted] reviewed documents that were received by me from HSBC MORTGATE SERVICES, INC. Ms. [redacted] stated that documents received was not a loan modification. On October 5, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. the Clerk of Court sold my property at a public sale to the highest bidder for cash. As of Feberuary 17, 2014, I have been unable to contact Ms. [redacted], Senior Negotiator for USA Home Relief.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a $5,000 refund. No amount can replace the lost for my husband and I, this was our retirement home. If a company like USA Home Relief could be referred by a bank like Chase Bank, they should deliver the service.
