I asked the sales person to give me prices or quotes on professional services for binding a book. Also I needed a certain type of binding for my book and I was wondering if this business could provide such professional services for me as a Busness Owner of ***. The male sales person did not give me prices, quotes or give me good professiaonal or positive feedback on the type of binding I needed. The male sales person told me that they always have to do unprofessional work, but nobody cares I told them I do care about how my book is being portrayed to the public and how it looks on the retail shelves and online while I am trying to sell my book and make money. My business depends on the quality of the products I sell online or in retail stores. I try to sell quality products and affodable products to my customers, so they will keep buying my products and be happy. Additionally, I tried to get the manager's name, but they hung up the telephone so quickly that I was unable to get a name of a sales person or the manager's name. They were scared to give me any pertinent information about their business or business practices.
Response of the Revdex.com complaint ID *** Dear ***, My name is Dong Y, the owner of U.S. Printing & Copying, and the man who had the interaction with ***. I'm sorry if the customer had an unpleasant experience at that time. I remember she called U.S. Printing to ask prices for bindings on 31st of Dec. 2019. She asked me what kind of bindings we can handle and how much it would cost. I told her we could do GBC(comb) binding, coil binding and tape binding which are $5 to $10 per piece depends on quantity. As mentioned on the customer's statement, she told me her situation about selling her book online and in retail stores. I told her that if she wants a professional-looking book (fit to sell in retail stores) that would be perfect bindings (which are book pages that are glued together at the spine) and unfortunately, we don't provide that in house. I never said we "always have to do unprofessional work". I told her we could show her the sample binds we provide if she wanted. That's the conversation we had over the phone. From my recollection, we hung up and then I left the shop about an hour later because it was New Year Eve. There must have been misunderstandings in our conversation, please let me know if you need more information from me.
