We are sorry for any misunderstanding. We train our agents thoroughly in honest and transparent communication. We have attached the script we use when training new hires, and as you will read, it is thorough about affirming several times that we are not affiliated with any government agency. Also...

attached are all the services we completed for the client, which are nonrefundable. While the client is correct that there is no fee for obtaining a DOT number, there are various laws and regulations that one falls under after obtaining said number. These laws and regulations are what our company specializes in, and per an over-the-phone interview and qualification, sold to the client. These services are required by law for registered drivers with the client's qualifications. As for attempting to contact us, this may be true if it were recently, as we have in the past four weeks been undergoing an overhaul of our phone systems. However, this client received these services back in May, and signed a three day cancellation acknowledgement form, and had he contacted us sooner, we could have worked with him, as we do honor our three-day cancellation policy. The client initiated a chargeback through the bank, which we disputed and won, upon providing necessary paperwork proving the validity of the sale and services. We have again attached said paperwork.

this matter seriously. The customer did call in on 4/25/2017 accusing our company of being a scam and claiming that he did not need the services. The representative who spoke with him on that day did tell him they would send him an e-mail, to which Mr. [redacted] agreed, stating he would review the e-mail and call back if he wanted to cancel. When we review our rep's outbox we can not see an e-mail sent out, but the representative maintains that they did send him an e-mail. Trusting our representative, we assume that there was a connectivity issue in sending the e-mail out. On 4/28/2017 an administrative representative reached out to the client to inquire as to what color he wanted his vinyl decals that he ordered. It was at that time that the customer became irate demanding a refund. Our company had already spent money on providing the services, and offered him a partial refund, minus our cost, which he refused. At that point the call was escalated to owner Joseph B[redacted] who attempted to resolve the matter by showing Mr. [redacted] the laws that stated he was required to have these services. By that time, Mr. [redacted] was beyond de-escalation, and the phone call was ended without any resolution. Our company had Mr. [redacted] sign documentation stating his knowledge of 3rd party status, and the required 3-day written cancellation policy. We regret that he did not receive the e-mail he was promised over the phone, and that the phone call was not escalated to retention in his first time calling, as if it had they would have been able to again go over our cancellation policy that the customer signed and possibly avoided this. Our company typically waits until day 4 to spend money on the services, in order to avoid financial loss on services provided for cancelled clients. Had Mr. [redacted] followed the cancellation policy we would have been able to honor a full refund. Still, our company was and is still willing to provide a refund, minus the amount spent on services provided.
