US Comfort Land

Review: I ordered a bed on ebay from US Comfort Land. The bed was not at all as they advertised. It was advertised as 5.3 Viscoelastic memory foam. It was advertised as Certi-Pur and to have a bamboo cover.1) The bed hardly even seemed like memory foam. It had a little bit of memory foam quality, but not much. It pops right back up, which 5.3 density memory foam does not do.2)The bamboo cover says that it is made of polyester when you read the label.3)When I checked with Certi-Pur, I found that the company is not registered with them, and has no right to advertise their beds as such.When I realized the bed was not the quality memory they claimed and the bamboo cover was not actually bamboo, I complained.They offered to give me $100 off or I could return the bed. I'd have to pay for shipping and they'd refund half the shipping cost. (It's close to $400 to ship the bed, so that did me no good.) I reluctantly took the $100 off, but when I found the bed was not even Certi-Pur a day or two later. I called back and asked for a refund.The company refused to take the bed unless I paid for shipping stating that was their policy. I said I understood that, but considering they lied and I caught them, they should make an exception. They refused.Not being certi-pur means this bed could pose a health risk to me and my dog.Below is the correspondence from [redacted] 10/21/13to rduffy, me [redacted]US Comfort Land is not on our list of participating retailers and they do not have the right to use our logo.I have sent them an email to determine if they are using certified foam (it is often the case that a company is legitimately buyingcertified foam, but they havent submitted the paperwork to be registered with our program (which doesnt not cost themanything).
