misuse, negligence, altercation, accidents or rust. Partial repairs insisted upon or so ordered by client are not covered under this warranty nor will “Uria Auto Body” accept any liability for such repairs.
Mr. [redacted] 2000 Ford F250 has a salvage title and was rebuilt out of state by a repair facility other than Uria Auto Body. The vehicle was brought to us to repair peeling paint in 2010 under an insurance claim to Farm Bureau. Peeling paint is not typically covered by insurance companies, however they processed this claim for Mr. [redacted]. When the peeling paint was repaired, the underlying previous repairs had not started to fail. There is no way for Uria Auto body to know where or when a previous improper repair is going to fail. The body work in question, cracking filler and corrosion on the rear of cab and roof panel joints was not a repair performed by Uria Auto Body, therefore it does not fall under Uria Auto Body’s warranty program. Furthermore, given the history of this vehicle, it is probable that more issues with the prior improper repairs will continue to arise.
