This is the second time that I've questioned this advertising. The first time was July 17, 2020 My teenage daughter went shopping with her friends and was overcharged. She paid for items that were discounted by 20%. Being 14 years old, she didn't want to cause a scene, or question the cashier. Today I did question the cashier, to no resolve.

There is a sign in the parking lot of the mall advertising that Urban Planet is Now Open. On the sign it says 1/2 PRICE, 50% OFF EVERYTHING. Nowhere on the sign does it say "up to 50% off". The items I purchased were discounted by 30%. I told the cashier that the sign outside says everything in the store is 50% off. She replied "no, it says up to 50% off". I told her that nowhere on the sign does it say that. I asked that my 2 items be discounted by 50%, she refused to give me the discount. When I asked to speak to a manager she said "I'll go outside later to see what the sign says". I was not provided with any resolution, nor did the cashier offer to let me speak to a manager. I took a picture of the sign as I left the mall. It does not say "up to 50% off".
