I purchased a table from District 704 that started chipping soon after we purchased it, they promised to replace it and never did.
I purchased an $800 dining table from District 704 in February 2018. About 6 months later I reached out because the table was chipping, even though we used place mats and only used water to clean it.
I spoke with Michelle who informed me that the table was under warranty because it had been under a year and she would work with the manufacturer to get me a new table.
Over the course of the next YEAR, I patiently waited as Michelle had to order table after table because each one was apparently damaged when she received them. When they tried to deliver the table to me, it was the wrong one, so we sent it back and AGAIN she said she would order a new one.
I'm frustrated because as you can see in the text messages, I had to follow up EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I tried to give her 4-6 weeks because she told me that was how long it took to order/be delivered...and each time it was another excuse.
The last two times I tried to reach out, she has not responded at all. It's obvious there won't be a resolution to this and she has given up, so I would like a refund.
I would like a full refund for the table we purchased ($800).
To whom it may concern,
This customer contacted us after the customer had this table for almost a year. We contacted the manufacturer on the customer's behalf and the manufacturer denied her claim. (Stating her issue was in fact a customer care issue not a manufacturing defect). As a courtesy we ordered and paid for a new table for her and when it arrived she refused delivery due to the table not being the same exact color as her current table.
Also at the time of the delivery this customer stated she wanted to keep the table she had due to the color variation. Our delivery team returned to our location with this product and we placed it on the sales floor for sale.
Our Cancelation / Return / Refund Policies haven't changed since the business opened and can still be found on our website at ***. All custom orders are All Sales Final which the customer can also see on her receipt.
