unfortunate and very rare scenario so I have tried to handle this in the usual method by placing a freight claim with the original freight company and also with the local delivery company. Both have been declined as the damage was not noted at time of receipt by either company. The customer did make notes upon delivery but that paperwork seems to have been misplaced (convieniently) by the delivery company. So, there is no true way of knowing exactly how the dent was caused and by whom.
So, I have made an offer to the customer to resolve the situation and keep her happy. I am waiting to hear back from her but will also call her this weekend upon my return.
