Uptown Trucking Disposal

My husband and I have been customers of Uptown Trucking for a few years now. While the trash/recycling service has been impeccible and always on time; the customer service (when you call to actually speak with someone) has been lacking.
As far as I can remember, we have never spoken with someone on the phone when trying to reach their office and have always had to leave a message.
I recently called them about a specific issue that we were having with a trash bin and it took a total of: One note in LARGE letters taped to the trash bin, one note in LARGE letters written on our statement that was submitted with our payment and TWO phone calls sandwhiched between the hand-written notes to finally get acknowlegement that our issue was being looked into. We finally did get a reply but it took a LONG time and found it extremely frustating.
If you want excellent trash service (as we've felt has been the case) and don't feel that it is important to reach an actual person to resolve any issues you may have - then Uptown Trucking is an excellent company with curteous staff. That provides a great trash service on the pick up end of things.
But If it is important to you (as it is to us) to reach a real person by phone and have your issue resolved with in a timely manner (less than three weeks) then look elsewhere.
