On August 17th 2020, ***, Senior Project Manager of Uptown Logo Design gave me an offer of $780 to design my website for my small business. I thought it was a great deal and said yes so I sent my $780 via PayPal that same day. The next day, August 18th 2020 I realized that $780 was a lot to pay for a website design since I am just starting so I sent *** a message on August 18th 2020 at 9:12 pm stating "Hi ***, I have decided to start my own website by myself. I appreciate all of the help you have provided so far but I believe it would be in my best interest if I only purchase my logo from you all. Due to unexpected circumstances I will not have to decline the offer to complete the website and would like a refund." Then he called me August 19th 2020, telling me that 48 hours had passed *** I was no longer eligible for a refund, but that did not say that anywhere on the website, the policy says "The client will not be entitled to any refund for logo after 30 days, and for website after 90 days, from the date of purchase." *** continued to tell me on the phone that I was making a bad decision and it was not worth me getting my money back, he said I would be wasting time which is wasting money. He said he would have the legal team send me an email with the policy but I never received that. The evening of August 19th 2020, I sent this "Good evening ***, I still would like a refund. Per our conversation my request for a refund was made yesterday at 7:31 pm. I understand that we have a time difference but it was still within the 48 hours as approximately only 27 hours elapsed from my purchase of the website and the dispute I issued on uptown logo design. I would like the legal department to contact me about the policy where it states that after 48 hours the and I will have my attorney contact them if it truly is a problem. Your website says "The client will not be entitled to any refund for logo after 30 days, and for website after 90 days, from the date of purchase." So please tell me where it says 48 hours. In conclusion, I will ONLY be using you all for the logo and would like the refund of $780. If the wait time is 45 days as you claim then I will take that wait, but I am demanding my money back. I understand that you attempted to help me but I did not like you continuing to tell me what the wrong decision was after I made up my mind and continuing to suggest things. I believe that is totally unprofessional." I never received a response, then August 20th 2020 I sent another email stating " URGENT just forwarding you my paper trail that has proof I attempted to talk to you but you did not reply to any of my emails." On August 20th 202 he finally responded stating "Moreover, About the website refund I raise the concern to finance as soon as I got the answer I will update you accordingly. If there is anything else so feel free to discuss" I sent another email on August 25th inquiring the status since I never received a message from the legal team with the policy stating "services must be cancelled within 48 hours" and he did not reply so I sent another message on September 5th 2020 asking about the status and he replied September 7th stating "I raise the concern to finance department I told you it will take time." I sent him another message on September 20th asking about the status and he said "Thank you for your email , as I told you Refund process take time. Moreover, In regards of finance . I shared the same email to finance and legal department they will get back to you when they required any information. I already share the complete case study with the." *** never had the legal team send me the policy he spoke of.

I ordered a package from them to design and host my website. I paid $400.00 in October of 2019. They did not complete the job & will not refund me.
I ordered a package from this company to build and host my website. They never completed the job. Did not communicate with me. Never delivered the rest of the previous package I ordered. Keep putting me off. Refuse a refund. Treat me like I am the problem. I looked at their reviews and this is a common practice for the, I want a refund for the job not being completed in almost a year.

I want a refund of my $400.00. I am not requesting a refund on the previous package they did not completed, but I got nothing at all out of this & had to pay somebody else.

I have been trying to deal with Uptown Logo Design since November of 2019. I still do not have a finished product.
I explained to several employees about my budget to build a website. These guys told me it would be no problem. But every time I would called for updates they would ask me for more money to complete my web site. I eventually paid a total of $600.00. For this price I still have nothing. As time went by I would contact them, because they would never contact me. Still they would ask for more money. I eventually set a compromise with *** who was apparently in charge of my account. I asked them to do a 1 page website, I created my own logo, and sent them all the info they said they needed to finish. I offered this compromise so I could get my web sight and not be charged anymore money. After several phone calls and promises from them, I, still to this day, 7/13/20 have nothing to show for the 600.00 they have taken from me.This company should be sued out of business. I would not recommend these people to anyone. In fact they should be shut down for fraud.

I originally just wanted my web sight, then I thought I would asked for just 350.00, so the designers that had already done some of the work would still get there pay. Since I haven't received any of those things, i want a full refund of the 600.00.

These guys are straight up crooks. I found them originally on November 11th 2019. I felt good about them at first when I saw they had better prices than competitors. Let that be a lesson. You get what you pay for. I was told I by a guy who calls himself Alex that it would be around three weeks and I would have a functional running website. He showed me other websites they apparently did in the same industry, they looked good so I went with them. Everything was going ok, then I get a call from Alex trying to up sell me on services that were completely unnecessary. The guy wouldn't take no for an answer until I got loud and eventually hung up on him, about a month goes by still no website. Come January, they tell me my website is ready. It was awful, non functioning, typos everywhere. Obviously was done with google translate. I get a call from my "account manager" and he said for them to fulfill what I wanted done, it would be another three weeks. I said ok, do you expect me to pay more money. He assured me no more money was necessary they just needed more time. I was frustrated but agreed. What else can I do? During this period the guy who calls himself Alex, I say it like that because I'm sure its not his real name, up sells me on SEO work that needed to be done. I agreed to two payments, $400 each a month apart and was assured I was going to have a functioning website in about a week. After a few weeks the guy who calls himself Carl calls me and drops the bomb of, I'm sorry but in order for us to continue you need to pay another $3000. Are you F%ing kidding me. I said you know what just give me my money back I'm going somewhere else. He kept trying to contact me, my response was I wanted my money back including the $800 they charged me for the SEO work that was obviously never fulfilled. His response was instead of the $3000 they would use the $800 and make it work. Now were are in March, yes five months later. They give me a website that is better, but not fully functional. He said in order to proceed I need to buy the maintenance package, that everything was working on his end. If I buy this package he will guarantee that it would work on my end too. He said he doesn't know why its not working for me and he sent me a screen shot showing me that it works for him. I consulted a professional, non con artist like these people and he said the reason it is working for him is because the set me up with a demo version. He was trying to get more money out of me to switch me out from the demo to the real version. The nerve of ss like this. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

Uptown owes me $*** for services that were never provided.
I contacted Uptown Designs inn October to provide me with a logo creation service. I originally paid them $150. That service was provided.

Uptown then up sold me on copyright and SEO services for my website. They requested $*** for SEO and $399 for copyright (paid upfront). After that, I did not hear from uptown for 2 months. When filing a dispute with my bank, Uptown is now claiming that the logo services cost the full amount (Even though you can see a charge for $399 for the logo copyright services). I paid them through credit card. I will continue to try and resolve this through any legal means necessary- as this is a complete and utter scam. In total- this company has defrauded me out of $***.

This company says a lot, but the moment you are dissatisified with their claims not matching what they deliver and request your money back, GOOD LUCK getting your money back. Even though I was well within their Terms of Service (which are carefully worded to cause you to easily waive their 100% money-back guarantee), when I asked for my money back, they argued and harassed me. They called me 9 times in two hours. I couldn't understand half of what the guy was saying, but every time I had a concern, they argued and attacked my concerns as if they weren't valid. So, I was forwarded to a guy from their "legal" department, who claimed that he is a "lawyer" and a "Vice President" of the company. He used exactly the same pressure tactics and kept talking about how important their reputation is and talked about all the high profile customers they have. He attacked my concerns and repeatedly said things like, "Why can't you just be a man about this and worth this out with us'" This was one of his many attacks. He claimed that my concerns weren't legitimate, including:
- Being constantly pressured to pay more money
- Being repeatedly called and harassed and verbally attacked
- Having miscommunication and problems with provided services not matching what was promised
- Denying claims about what was promised (i.e. empty claims)
- Claiming that more money up-front would be required to get services initially promised
- Me just not feeling good about their services

I looked up his name in the California State Bar attorney registry, and nobody with that name existed, so I think he was lying. I couldn't understand why they were fighting so hard to give me a refund literally the day after I paid them for services not yet rendered. When I asked him to spell his name he said, "It's on the website." It's not. I looked carefully. They kept telling me to not get an attorney, and they said they have "21 lawyers" but that I only have one.

If their reputation is so important, why can't they just refund my money?

Refund I'd like to get a refund so I won't need to proceed to take court action to get my money back. I'm confident that a judge will support my case because I'm fully within their terms of service, especially with their "100% money-back guarantee." I shouldn't need to convince them that I have a reason so convincing for them to give my money back that they can't reject it. They should just give my money back as they promised in their advertising.

Requested a refund from this company and never got it. Was given the run around.
I had a logo design done with this company "Invoice # -***" and they did an up sell on a copyright for the logo for $400 dollars. They told me to put a down payment on December 19, 2019 for $200 and pay the rest on December 27, 2019. I put the $200 down on December 19, 2019 via my visa debit card but decided not to go through with the copyright. So I talked with a guy name *** through their Zendesk chat and he assured me that it would get refunded it just takes time. I sent another message through their Zendesk on December 23, 2019 and talked to a guy named *** that said my refunded request was forwarded. I sent them another message through their Zendesk chat again on January 3, 2020 and got an auto reply that they were busy at the moment and to leave a message which I did with no follow up from them. On January 5, 2020 I sent another message through their Zendesk and left a message with no update until January 7, 2020 when I got a call from a guy named *** from their legal department. He stated that the copyright was done and they were ready to move forward. I told *** that I was told by *** and *** that the refund request went through and they were not to complete the copyright and he stated that nothing was communicated to his department. He stated that he would have to talk with *** to find out whats going on and he will have him follow up with me. I never got a call back so I sent another message through their Zendesk on January 14, 2020 and talked with *** again and asked him for an update to what is going on with my refund. He then forwarded me to a guy named ***. *** stated that the refund was processed right after the holidays.He went on to say it could take up to 14 business days to revert. He then stated I should have the amount back in my account by the end of this week " Jan 19th" or next week max. I sent another message on January 24, 2020 and talked with *** again and he stated that its in process and that he will have an update on Monday. I told him I don't understand the hold up as I was supposed to have that money back in the account by last week or this week at the latest. He then went onto say that according to the records it has processed. He asked if I checked with my bank which I did and they said nothing was showing on their end. I was then told that the funds should have been credited back by now. He went onto say that someone from billing would get back with me regarding the issue. It is now February 3, 2020 and I still have not received my refund or heard from this company.

I would like my full refund of $200 as per our agreement.

I have received my refund today February 20,2020. I am satisfied with this outcome and this case can be closed.

They are fraudsters operating as a business. They are scamming and have scammed numerous people and are owing tonnes of money to other unsatisfied customers who trusted that they would deliver the services promoted to them. They don't answer calls and no callbacks neither any email to communicate any concerns.

This was my first order here and I've got an amazing experience which will encourage me to work more in future in UptownLogoDesign......

I paid them $700 to build my website and it has never been done. When you ask them they fraud!!!
I paid $700 to have my website designed and they have never delivered. Every
time you ask them they always say by the end of the day but it never happens. I am going to call the credit card company to dispute the charges as this company is a complete fraud. They will not respond to the chat on the website or answer the phone. What they are doing is illegal!

It should be noted that the client's website *** has been made live as of yesterday. The issue that the customer has pointed out is totally baseless. The work on the website had been completed well within time. Whereas, the customer had only purchased a domain name from their service provided without a proper hosting plan in place.
Once we got the credentials for the domain and logged in to the account in order to make the upload, we learnt that the domain has not been hosted yet. This is when we asked the customer to purchase a hosting plan, given the client's inability to understand the basic technicality of a website's domain name purchase and that of hosting a website. The client started to blame our policies and work ethics as if we were doing his business harm deliberately. In this scenario, to deescalate the situation, we hosted the domain on our own servers without charging any extra charges from the customer. Please also note that the client's purchased plan does not include a domain name purchase or any hosting plans.
Since the website is live, hosted on our servers yet the customer is filing a complaint with the Revdex.com.org and threatening to chargeback the order payment amount, it is very evident who has fraudulent intentions.
We, at Uptown Logo Design, request the Revdex.com.org to look into this matter and have this case status changed to 'resolved' since there is nothing extra that we can or are obliged to do.

I have spent upwards of $*** with this company. The quality was terrible so I asked for reimbursement for services not yet received and was denied.
This company offers 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and money back guarantee, but they are frauds. I spent over $*** dollars with this company for the creation of logos, websites, business cards and sales materials, as well as an SEO program.

The quality of the business cards and brochures were terrible and I lost confidence in their ability so I cancelled the SEO before any service was completed or presented to me.

I have been denied the refund, given the run around, they now they just hang up after I call. I have been very cordial but these people are professional scammers. All I asked for is a confirmation of cancellation, and an invoice with funds being cancelled and they make every excuse as to why they don't have it "Right now".

I have never experienced a professional con team such as these.
The persons which I talked to were "***", "***", and *** All of which seemingly coordinated responses that the others were unavailable each time I called. I suspect this coordination because each Mentioned that they had a meeting about the poor quality and unsatisfactory product I was given but instead of a refund they try to speak over you and sell you additional services and then hang up when they are unsuccessful.

The company has stated that they will refund me 1250 for the SEO I ordered. I will withdraw complaint once funds are received. They claim that the refund will not be processed for another two weeks on 12/30/19.

Started on 06-28-19 & website still not completed.Per web, guaranteed 100% reimbursement. But no contract to support any litigation.Just Print Screen.
Website product UT-XXXXX started on 6/28/19 and hasn't been fully completed as of 12/3/19. Total cost now ~***+ via Uptown online link provided. Throughout the process been repeatedly mentioning what needed to been done and they made slight effort. Started with *** to *** to *** to *** to *** to *** and now *** is the only person I can talk to now, others had been fired he said). I been deceived and call them out on a website shown to me that they have claimed. I reached out to *** & verified with owner that Uptown had no involvement with his web design. With the headache, back and forth with reps and finding out the truth I asked for refund but they refused with a screenshot litigation documentation I never saw or signed for. Keep in mind, I never approved product before it went live on 10/8/19. I kindly requested for a temporary facepage a month in advance before an event, but got an uncompleted work instead (this is now ~3 months+ later) 4 days after the event. I tried to work with them, but same issues keep occurring with each rep, nothing changed and when asked for reimbursement they tried to improve website but made slight effort. In addition, when website went live it lasted for 2 days due to bandwidth limitation and now I needed a $*** server for myself for a work that still hasn't been completed. Last, they created a dashboard that not fully functionable or fits my needs. It was an error on their part and want another month but will cost more for future functionality changes. Contracted company to design and produce a website for my business. No communication after several inquiries on the status for weeks.
I paid UpTown to design a website for my business on July 27th, 2019. I worked through their process to make it just like I wanted and had an excellent experience with the design process. I was told 3 weeks ago (mid August) that my website was completed and that I could edit all the text fields on my own time after it was published. I have sent multiple emails and several inquiries through their "live chat" function on their website for updates with no response. My Invoice ID is UT-XXXXX in the amount of *** and my sales rep was *** I paid over the phone with my personal debit card and my business debit card (both of them *** bank).

Uptown Logo is unable to produce a sufficient product, has ignored my complaints, and will not issue a refund.
I started a contract with Uptown Logo Design to create a logo for my creative work. I felt pressured to sign up for an upgrade, but I agreed to this in hope of better service. They created three logos that looked like stolen clip art (9/12/19). I rejected these and issued instructions with more detail and reference material. They produced two more logos (9/16/19) that looked like stock images, so I filed a dispute. They called me and begged for "one more chance." I denied this, but they sent me two more logos unsolicited. They looked like stock images (9/17/19) and spelled my name wrong. I contacted them to terminate the contract and received another unsolicited phone call from them (9/25/19), where a different representative pretended to be the first one and again begged for "one more chance." I denied this for 20 minutes before relenting and issuing specific instructions for a new design. They promise a 48-hour turnaround time but ignored me for a week. I filed a second dispute on 10/2/19. They ignored me for another week and I filed a third dispute on 10/8/19, and am now filing with the Revdex.com.

As per our dispute resolution policy we did try reaching out to you and provide a viable solution. Failing which, upon your request we agreed to refund your order amount back into your account.
If you have done online business in the past, you would know refund transactions require a procedure that needs to be followed. Having said that, we have since processed the refund from our end which shall start showing back into your account within 7 - 10 business days, again as per standard banking refund procedures.
Posting regular disputes or contacting any mediators online will not affect the standard procedures being followed by us or the banks. It is advised to wait until the stipulated period and then get in touch with your bank to check the status of your refund reflecting back in to your account.

I wish to revoke this complaint. Uptown Logo Design feels their reputation has been damaged by this report and asks me to remove it, to expedite their refund to me. I'm giving them the chance to make good on this.

Amazing for start-up business especially because of how amazing their cooperation is, they make it very simple and easy. Very professional, highly recommended if you want a good website design that connects with your audience.

Company's Project *** advised I will receive refund of website creation in April 2019 but I never received after several follow-up attempts.
On March 15, I spoke with *** a Project *** about creating a website. The cost was $898 which I paid in full and the Order ID UT-*** was created. On March 28,2019 I sent the company an email at *** advising I wanted to cancel the website design package and that I was requesting my money back due to not being satisfied with the service I received. I provided the following cancellation reason:
I am not satisfied with the service I am receiving. I feel like the design is not matching my business and it is not branded with my business. I am now suppose to go section by section telling you how I want it to look. I expected at least my branding and what I said I plan to do with the business to be part of the design already. The reason I chose you is because you did my logo so I thought you will be able to easily incorporate the branding of our business. Also, the logo you used looks to be an older version that had something in the background and not the final (first time it was right and after revisions, it looks wrong with something white behind it). My company name is not correctly branded throughout. You removed a word from the company's name. This is something I should not have to go and point out and document. It should have already been part of my design. I also feel like when I try to explain the business, I'm talked over and you're letting me know that you're already familiar with my type of business. This is suppose to be a design unique to my company but I keep hearing how other companies in my same industry is doing their website. Our goal is not to be like other companies and be different. I continue to get offered other services and I'm more than happy to hear about them but don't make it seem like I must take it because I don't know what I am doing.
I will like the opportunity to partner with you on other services but at this time not on the website creation. Please honor your money back guarantee.

I also reached out to *** on the WhatsApp direct number he provided to provide him with the same information. We eventually discussed the details and at the end of the call agreed to provide the refund. On April 19, he sent me a message on WhatsApp wanting to confirm about the refund to see if it was reflected in my account. I advised the refund was not there yet. On April 22, he advised he will double check with the Finance team and get back to me. After several follow ups, a new Project ***, *** reached out to me on June 28 to approve the home page. I responded explaining that I submitted for a refund and requested a follow-up on the status. *** responded and provided the refund policy. I responded back advising that the refund was already approved by the previous Project ***. He then called me. I explained the history and he said they will check with the previous project *** and honor the refund request. He was going to get back with me in a couple of days. I sent him a follow up and no response.

Purchase All In One online *** problem immediately w/no instructions. Finally got logo. Upsell for copyright protection, asked for refund bc it is included in pkg had to go thru AMEX for refund bc Uptown wouldn't process. Logo is supposed to have (c) for copyrighted. Repeatedly instructed for sample of website to be in English and it remains mixed English/Spanish. Had to repeatedly request the final stationary packet be created with our info. Repeatedly requested a change to the address format to be standard U.S. Questions about items purchased go ignored. The only info I can find on this company is the address is for Wilshire Mail Box (box rental company). I suspect they are not even in the U.S.A.

I do not have a finished product, no response to multiple inquiries over almost a year's time, and only a Logo was completed on my order. I called again on 6/12, 6/17, 6/20, 6/24, 6/25, 6/26. Each time, spoke with the same gentleman who would change his name every time. Does not answer phone by company name, and tells me to drink tea and calm down? Each time he told me that the complaint dept would call me, first within 24 hours, then on 6/25 am, told I would have a call back at 4:00 pm that day. At 4:45, I spoke with him again, changed name, said he did not know- and again stated the same speech. No manager available, no one from complaint dept available, they will call you in 24 hrs. Today 6/26 at 3:40 pm - same story. I have invested almost $*** with this company. I need help to get them to refund my money. Also want to reach out to the Attorney General regarding this.
