So far it is going alrightStill a ways to go and I do have disputes on my credit report that I dont agree with so dont know what to do with those yet.The people are nice also so farWe shall see as time goes onFor now I need to stay neutral

I am the Managing Attorney at UpRight Law for Enhanced Service Immediately upon receiving this complaint, I called this client.When a client hires UpRight Law, this firm begins the work of preparing a bankruptcy case The client agrees to pay the firm for the work it does In this case, the amount that was paid was far less than the value of the work that went into the case UpRight Law understands that this client experienced a number of financial difficulties and was unable to complete her obligation Still, no law firm could exist if it were to spend time preparing cases and then give the money paid back to the clients after the work was done UpRight Law did not charge this client for the deficiency of her bill UpRight Law did not contact her and ask her to pay the remainder of her contract Upright Law waived the fees for the work that was completed and agreed to close the case with no future payments.After talking to this client about the work that went into this case, we came to an understanding about why no refund was offered and we were able to successfully resolve this client's issue

I am the managing attorney at UpRight Law for Enhanced Services I received this complaint this morning and immediately contacted this client We apologize for any miscommunication that may have led this client to believe we are open all throughout the weekend While we often make ourselves available to our clients when they need us outside of our regular business hours, we are still a law firm and our general assistance line is only staffed from 8:- 5:CT Monday through Friday After explaining this to this client she has indicated that her complaint has been successfully resolved

I am the managing attorney at UpRight Law for Enhanced Service. When I learned of this complaint, I immediately called him to address his concerns. This client spoke with his local attorney one day prior to filing this complaint and only started the process of sending his paperwork in... yesterday. The process of filing for bankruptcy is not normally a one or two day undertaking. Any law firm will need the client to furnish it with certain documentation to prove the factual statements contained in the bankruptcy petition. The case is further complicated by the fact that the client owns multiple pieces of real estate which need to be addressed in the bankruptcy petition. All of this is currently under way and we look forward to helping this client trough his difficult situation. After our conversation and my explanation of these factors to him, he is pleased with UpRight Law's response and remains a happy client moving forward with his case.

I am a managing attorney at UpRight Law WHen I received this complaint, I immediately began investigating this case file By the time this complaint was received, a full refund had been processed by our team here Clearly, This former client's intent to hire the firm was misunderstood by the individuals with whom she spoke When people contact our firm in inquire about services and give the representatives their debit card information and go through a full intake, it is common for them to understand the person is hiring this firm to represent them in a bankruptcy matter Obviously, that was not the case here and we apologize for any inconvenience or frustrations that she experienced
