UPG

I keep getting calls from a company called UPG saying they are a collection agency. They claim some Manhattan loan company deposited $300 into my bank account and never got their money back. 1) I've never heard of either of their companies. 2) I never applied for or received a $300 loan. 3) They refused to send me any type of verification and were extremely rude.
4) They also attempted to get my social security number. 5) I also immediately checked my credit report and there is no such information about the so called debt or collection.
