Up In Smoke BBQ

Hired Up In Smoke BBQ to cater our wedding reception. We paid up front for 70 people and only half showed. The owner who was present for our event, took the food that we paid for that was left over. I called him and asked him where was the food we paid for and after he tried to talk his way around it he admitted that he took it and he said it was in his walk in cooler and if I wanted it I could come get it. When I asked him why should I have to come and get food that we paid for and he should have left at our event he told me he would bring it to me and kiss my feet if that would make me happy. I had him on speaker phone and a dozen of my guests that were still there heard the way he spoke to me. I was appalled at the disrepect he showed me especially after what he had done. My husband and I went to the business 2 days later when he reopened and he told us to leave that he owed us nothing. I told him that he said to come and get the food so we were there to settle the issue. He then picked up the phone and called the cops. The cops never showed, but while we waited for the cops to get there he again admitted what pans of food he took and said he owed us nothing and that I was nothing and he wasn't worried about a little peon like me. He is trying to say that we are upset that all of our guests didn't show and we are taking it out on him. That is absurd. I have never been so disrepected and sadened by how someone could do business that way and then treat me with such disrespect. He got us for about $600.00 and I am sure he took that food and sold it again at the restaurant. I can only imagine how many people he has done this to. I really hope no one has to go through what we went through especially on such a special day as it was our wedding day!
