To the Revdex.com and John P***, Thank you for resolving this matterThis is a comment mostly for MrP***'s benefitOHSU has to do a better job in the transparency and accountability departmentThe bills should state clearly what is being billed for and which are covered under preventative careOtherwise we waste a lot of each other's timeI believe the Revdex.com would underscore the importance of transparency and accountability*** ***
RE: date of service 01/09/15, hospital visit number [redacted] Current Bal: $0.00 Dear Mr. [redacted]. Please find this letter in follow up to my previous letter dated 09/15/15. OHSU has received new information that corroborates that the AAA testing should be paid at 100% by your insurance, [redacted]....
Please know OHSU has resubmitted the claim to them in hopes of receiving additional reimbursement. I believe the issue is the AAA screening benefit is contingent upon the patient being a current or past smoker. OHSU has added a code to the claim which will direct [redacted] to this fact and hopefully allow you the higher benefit. I have removed the balance from your responsibility. Once [redacted] reprocesses the claim a new bill, if any, will be sent to you. If you need any additional assistance or wish to discuss this subject in greater detail please feel free to reach out to me at the number below. Sincerely,
