Review: I consulted with Dr [redacted] in Los Alamitos. He determined that a medical intervention was required. I agreed to do it as long as it could be done without any form of anesthesia. He agreed and noted my file to reflect this request. It was later determined that the procedure was to be done by another physician. Her name is Dr [redacted]. Several times during the week of June 23, 2014,I received confirmation from her office manager (his name is [redacted]) that everything was in order and that Dr [redacted], like her colleague Dr [redacted], also agreed to conducting the procedure without anesthesia. As a result, I purchased the prescription needed and then I conducted the pre-procedural fasting and clensing on June 30. When I showed up for the procedure on July 1, Dr [redacted] refused to perform the procedure if it was conducted anesthesia-free. Apparently, my time and my quality of life were not important enough for the doctor to contact me before June 30 to inform me of her refusal to conduct the procedure under the condition I requested.Desired Settlement: I would like the consultation copayment with Dr [redacted] eliminated. I would like the prescription cost refunded to me; this is 12.84$. For the time I wasted going to the procedure on July 1 and the unecessary pre-procedural wasted day on June 30, I would like to receive a 100.00$ compensation. I am appaled at the waste of time and ressources this company put me through.
