I contacted United Counseling in January. They explained me the process in great detail. I did my due diligence and after they reviewed my eligibility paperwork, they accepted me as their client. My husband and myself found their process very efficient, also very transparent because we were able to check out our case online and our processor Javier Rios kept us posted on the entire process on a weekly base. All questions we had were answered by their staff and they were very responsive to our concerns. Last week we got the great news that our mortgage was modified and we are saving $615 every month on our mortgage, and the bank also gave us 1 month of This is such a great relief for our family! We had first tried this ourselves by contacting our bank directly, however after 3 months of frustration, they lost our paperwork, and virtually no response, we are now satisfied that United Counseling has helped us. I would definately recommend this company to anybody who is interested to save money on their mortgage.
Thank you for the nice comment, glad we could help you
FRAUD
I was contacted by United Asset Counseling. They charged me $*** to lower the interest on my mortgage. Once the paperwork was done and they sent me everything for distribution to ***. Needless to say *** doesn't work like this and will not be lowering my mortgage interest. I have attempted to contact them twice now with no response. I understand an epidemic is going on but I was contacted by *** who is working from her home. I want my money back
Refund me my original $
Our processing staff communicated with the client and we will continue to assist her to obtain the modification that she is entitled to
Misrepresentation of services-Offer of loan modification. Our Credit union reports that we have been scammed
Mis-representation of services-- an offer for loan modification on home loan interest rates-- Our credit union reports that we have been scammed and they do not accept the paperwork that United Asset Counseling has prepared and sent. United Asset Counseling charged us $*** and reported that they were successful in preparing working with lenders. Our lender reports them as unrecognizable and has recommended that we move forward with the Revdex.com.
We are, therefore, out $*** and our identity/bank accounts and income are at risk. We have contacted Transunion and gathered identity theft coverage.
We want to, not only report United Asset Counceling but also attempt to gather a refund for the invalid "services"
Refund and identity and account protection

We will only accept refund in the end. They did not "acknowledge" us until 4/7. The note of 3/27 above is a lie. They would not return calls nor respond to us. We are demanding a refund.
We are awaiting their response after a meeting on 4/21 regarding our dispute that we discussed with them on 4/7 after awaiting this respond for weeks. They are proving themselves guilty. We will continue to call and write until we are refunded.
Our Compliance Department has been in contact with the client and this situation has been resolved

In regards to Revdex.com case #: *** after doing further due diligence and through the cooperation and understanding of United Counseling we have worked through the situation which lead us to opening the case. The situation was a result of our own misunderstanding, fear and quick rash judgment and not the fault of United Counseling. We are happy to report they have been cooperative in helping to resolve the situation to our satisfaction and we appreciate the help and dedication they have given to our case.
service they said they would provide me was not provided to me.
I was told they can save me $977. off my monthly mortgage payment. when I asked are you sure my mortgage co. would agree to this,I was told they have to because this is a government program.I proceded with them and sent two payments to them. the first was for $750. The second was for $***.They then sent me my mortgage modification paperwork that I had to submit to my mortgage co. which I did. Two days later my mortgage co. called and asked me what I expected them to do. I told them I was expecting to have a reduction of $977 off my monthly mortgage payment like I was told by united asset counseling I was approved and eligible to get. The mortgage rep said there is no way they can deduct $977 off my monthly payment. I was told these type of organizations cannot just pull a number out of the air like that and expect us to comply. I said I was told you have to because it is a government program. I was told first of all the documents they had you send are from the *** that ended at least 4 years ago. At that point my jaw hit the floor! I proceded to tell them I was told you would drop my interest rate from 5 3/4% to 2% for 5 years then 3% for the rest of the life of the loan. The mortgage rep again reminded me united asset counseling can not in any way tell us what to do. The mortgage rep said you were misled and lied to. I feel like I was cheated out of $***. I have made calls to united asset counseling to 3 different people and none off them are returning my calls.
At least a partial refund because the service that provided me with is misleading
We acknowledge receipt of the client concern and will reach out to him directly to understand further details and how we can assist him
