In response to Ms***'s REJECTION to our fair offerI would like to provide legal documentation stating our treatment consent disclosure that Ms [redacted] signed Please take notice that in this legal document it clearly states: "Unique Dental of Framingham is happy to contact your insurance company and get info to provide for you with your treatment plan This is a service we are able to provide with the understanding that this is only an estimate and not a guarantee of insurance payment Guarantor is responsible for payment of all treatment not covered by the insurance company*PLEASE VIEW ATTACHMENT WHERE MS [redacted] SIGNED AND WAS AWARE OF ALL DISCLOSURESAND SEE BELOW"FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY We ask for an estimated co-payment at the time of service for what we anticipate your balance to be All items are subject to change upon date of service You as the member of your insurance policy are responsible for knowing what your insurance stipulations are." As you can see, We were not obligated to offer Ms [redacted] any refundOut of good faith and loyalty to our patients, we thought that it was a fair decision to offer 50% in return Since the offer, Ms [redacted] has written multiple online reviews discriminating our Business and has caused loss of new patient clientele Due to the damages, we are no longer offering any refund and hope that Ms [redacted] will refrain from slandering our business as we were doing very well and have no other complaints to our service

It is an Unfortunate situation for all parties involved At Unique Dental, As a COURTESY to our patients we offer to review THEIR INSURANCE policies with as much knowledge as we can be provided with by THEIR Insurance carrier At the time of this patients appointment, we were under the impression that OUR Endodontist was IN network, according to the representative from THE PATIENT'S INSURANCE Company Our Office Credentialed our Doctor accordingly and was told he was all set When the claim was processed, the patients Insurance processed our Endodontist out of network We contacted her insurance and was told we had to follow up on his credentialing We contacted provider relations and was in fact told that our doctor needed additional paperwork but we was never notified So the ball was dropped in ALL directionsWe offered to split the refund by 50% due to the mistake from the patients Insurance company and being the LOYAL company to our patients that they deserve This patient called our office numerous times to follow up when our office manager was unavailable, as well as the owners We have highly trained our front desk staff to take care of all matters when higher authority is not available and we feel that this matter was taken care of accordingly We replied promptly to Ms***'s complaint and tried to settle fairly At this time, the Endodontist is no longer with us, so we will not further his credentialing And As for our offer for refund, the offer still stands at 50%, which is fair for all parties involved

This forum is no longer proper for this dispute and I will be sending a 93A letter within the week, followed by a complaint in small claims in the Brighton district Court in the event we can’t resolve the matter.  I an available by by telephone if you would like to resolve without court action.  Regards,

It is an Unfortunate situation for all parties involved.  At Unique Dental, As a COURTESY to our patients we offer to review THEIR INSURANCE policies with as much knowledge as we can be provided with by THEIR Insurance carrier.  At the time of this patients appointment, we were under the...

impression that OUR Endodontist was IN network, according to the representative from THE PATIENT'S INSURANCE Company.  Our Office Credentialed our Doctor accordingly and was told he was all set.  When the claim was processed, the patients Insurance processed our Endodontist out of network.  We contacted her insurance and was told we had to follow up on his credentialing.  We contacted provider relations and was in fact told that our doctor needed additional paperwork but we was never notified.  So the ball was dropped in ALL directions.... We offered to split the refund by 50% due to the mistake from the patients Insurance company and being the  LOYAL company to our patients that they deserve.  This patient called our office numerous times to follow up when our office manager was unavailable, as well as the owners.  We have highly trained our front desk staff to take care of all matters when higher authority is not available and we feel that this matter was taken care of accordingly.  We replied promptly to Ms. [redacted]'s complaint and tried to settle fairly.  At this time, the Endodontist is no longer with us, so we will not further his credentialing.  And As for our offer for refund, the offer still stands at 50%, which is fair for all parties involved.
