Review: We needed a roof repair done on our slate roof. We hired Union Painters & Home Contractors after a thorough search on Home advisor and proper screening of various contractors. On arrival, they presented their competence and even shown slates to be used to replace fallen slates that were causing the leak. They charged a good price. The climbed up and worked. on a first day they worked. THE roof leaked after they were done, with no change at all. They can be 3 more times and the roof leaked again with no change at all.

When contacted that the roof was still leaking, they indicated that they wanted to discuss MORE MONEY to fix the roof. They indicated the wanted to continuing sealing the the rest of the roof with bathroom / window seal CAULKING, and asked us to pay them more money. The roof currently still leaks after rain falls and they basically took our money. a lot of damage is being caused

On inspection by us the home owner, We found out that nothing was replaced and that the used BATHROOM / WINDOW SEAL CAULKING on the slate roof to fix. this is not the method to repair slate roofs. Other contractors have looked and confirmed this. We feel like this contractor stole our funds with unnecessary work to show for it. The roof still leaks with no change.

We in-still trust in contractors for slate roof repairs(in this case Union Painters & Home Contractors) and it hurts to know that you are delivered false services and all your money is stolen from you.

they did not honor their commitment to properly fix the roof at the price the presented to us. They never intended to fix our roof.
