From my understanding, [redacted] had the car a few days and the oil light came on and we repaired the problem by replacing the oil pick up tube, which is very common in audi / VW vehiclesThe light was not on prior to the sale or when [redacted] test drove the car, it did come on a few days later and Ultimate Rides repaired the problemmonths later [redacted] had a problem with the car, we looked at the car and we were then told that the car was looked at by another shopWe felt that the problem had something to do with the repairs done at the other shopWe then recommended that he take the car back to the shop that had previously worked on it [redacted] spent $on repairs at that shop and the car ran worseIf [redacted] purchased a warranty he can take the car anywhere of his choice to have it fixed.We believe that the repair shop may have missed a crack in the head or not resurfaced head when had repair doneWe are not the shop that did that workWe will help [redacted] in making a warranty claim if he doesn't know how, but if he paid the other shop money to repair the car, that shop should take care of it

We do not exchange vehiclesThe customer can call our service department to have the vehicle fixed, she pays for part we cover labor at no charge

The customer had brought the vehicle in for a check engine light, we brought the vehicle in and repaired the problem that made the check engine light come onAfter some time the check engine light came on for a completely different reasonWe had told the customer that we would repair the vehicle, but she would have to pay for the part and we would do the labor at no cost, we never heard back from her sinceThis offer still stands if she would like to call and set up a service appointment.Thanks

THERE IS NO WAY FOR THE DEALERSHIP TO KNOW HOW ACCURATE THE FUEL GUAGE ISWE FIXED THE PROBLEM AT NO CHARGE TO THE CUSTOMERWE SHOWED HIM HOW TO START THE CAR AFTER HE HAD FLOODED ITAT THAT TIME THE CAR NEEDED A TUNE UP, WHICH IS MAINTANENCE AND BECAUSE HE PURCHASED THE CAR FROM US WE WOULD GIVE THE CAR A TUNE UP AT A DISCOUNTED RATE, BUT THE CUSTOMER CHOSE TO GO ELSEWHERE FOR THE WORK AND PAID DOUBLE WHAT HE SHOULD HAVEIF THERE IS ANY PROBLEM WITH A REPAIR THAT WE DID WE WILL LOOK AT AND REPAIR AT A DISCOUNTED RATE, ALSO FOR ANY FUTURE REPAIRS HE WILL ALWAYS GET A DISCOUNTED RATE EVEN THOUGH THE CUSTOMER DECLINED ALL EXTENDED WARRANTYS OFFERED.WE UNDERSTAND THAT OLDER SPORTS CARS CAN BE EXPENSIVE TO MAINTAIN

We spoke with the customer yesterday 8/21/and made an agreement with him to settle

I do not accept the response received from Ultimate Rides on August 27th via the Revdex.com onlineWhen fist reporting this complaint to the Revdex.com I wrote a very detailed complaint that included all incidents with the car and I included all receiptsThe response from Ultimate rides was very brief and not detailed at allThey did not address all the issues I brought upI will respond to Ultimate Ride's response back to me line by line They stated that there is no way for them to know that the fuel gauge was brokeThe day I bought the care I tried talking down the price of the car and Shawn told me that they could not lower the price because they spent a lot of money inspecting the carMaking sure that the fuel gauge was working should have been covered in their inspectionUltimate Rides did tell me there was a certain way to start the car, which was after my car wouldn't start and I had it towed to themAs already stated in my complaint, I contacted multiple Mazda dealerships and they all told me there is no specific way to start this carIn the response back from Ultimate Rides they stated "At that time the car needed a tune up"This is not the reason the car was towed down to them on June 30th and this was not the issue at handThe car would not start and it was due to Ultimate Rides preforming inadequate work on the car on June 20th when they had to replace the coolant reservoir and fuel sending unit while they were trying to fix the coolant senor and fuel gaugeAlso, during the time they had the vehicle on June 30th there was a cylinder #misfireThey did tell me they would repair the car, but at this time I was dissatisfied with their work and I wanted to have the car fixed by a certified mechanicI drove the car up to Matthews Tire in Appleton, WI and they fixed the issues that were occurring at the timeI have included a quote from [redacted] Manager of the College Avestore, " Here are a couple of the issues that we found when the vehicle was brought to usThe radiator looked like it was replaced, however the transmission lines were leaking and we found that the lines were strippedThe sway bar was broken on one sideThe engine light was also on and two codes were found(po300-random misfire and po076-VDI solenoid)On another visit there was a fuel smell and we found that a gasket by the fuel sending unit was not properly installed and was causing a leak.- ***." As stated by [redacted] the radiator was replace but they put it in wrongThe mechanic could not get the replaced part off of the car and therefore a outer coolant device had to be installedUltimate Rides stated that they would fix any future repairs and honestly I am not interested in taking this car back to them everI would just like to be compensated for all the repairs/re-work I had to have done by Matthews TireIn my initial complaint I included these receipts and I can send them again if necessaryWhen Ultimate Rides stated that older cars can be expensive to maintain, I do agree, but in this case I feel that Ultimate Rides is at faultI responded back to everything Ultimate Rides had to say and I just want to discuss one more item that was not addressedAs stated in my initial complaint and by [redacted] there was a gas leak due to the fact that Ultimate Rides did not install the fuel sending unit properly when they were trying to fix it on June 20th In closing, I hope that this issue can be resolved in a professional mannerI have been through a lot of issues and repairs with this car within the first two monthsSince having all issues mentioned in my complaint fixed by Matthews Tire on July 21st, I have not had any further problems Thank You, [redacted] ***

Something else needs to be doneY'all had the opportunity to call and cancel the loan but you chose not toThat is ridiculous

They checked the light again and turned it off manually againOf course it came right back onSo when they had claimed to fix it the first time they did not fix everything! The light has not been off since I've had the vehicle so it wasn't off for some time it has always been on and that was communicated with them over the phone in person and through text

Unfortunately, there is no way that we could have done anything to the starter by starting the truck and pulling it out of the shopYou just don't know when a starter may go outSorry, but we are not going to replace the starter or pay for one

We kept fixing what the codes read from the check engine lightWhen you buy a used vehicle, (not new), things can happen at anytimeThis is nothing we can determine on any vehicleAfter we would fix something on the vehicle we would drive it several times to make sure the light didn't come back onIt is unfortunate that when the customer picked it up the light came back onWhen a customer gets attorneys involved the employees do not get involved any further, it is then in the customers handsThis customer was extremely rude to everyone from the get go acting as if they purchased a brand new car and it needed repairsThey bought usedAs for financing, this customer is a tear with CAC which makes financing very difficultYes a big down payment is required and they could not come up with the money on the vehicle we found that would work out for CACAgain, we offered to repair the Jeep since they didn't have the down payment and never heard back from themAlso, with CAC there are different departments that don't work with each otherThe dealer division is completely different from where the customers callNobody here is making statements about what CAC told us.We had also told this customer that we may have to try several steps in order to get the problem with Jeep repaired and at that point they got upset and wanted out of the Jeep completely when we offered to repair until its right

I have offered the customer all that I can offerNobody lied to the customer, they purchased a used vehicle not a new oneThey were offered an extended warranty that is good state wide and they opted out of that optionAfter putting several miles on the vehicle a problem occured that was out of our controlThe customer was more then welcome to bring the vehicle back for service and chose not to

Because this is from a purchase 3 years ago, I can offer repairs at dealer cost to the customer.Thanks

We have done everything we could to get this part ordered for the customerEvery one that we have ordered gets to us and then we see that its the wrong part so we have to send it backWe contacted the customer asking them to stop at any Dodge dealer to have them get us the correct part number and the customer refused.We have another part on order for them, hopefully when it arrives it is the correct oneIf this one is not correct the customer will need to help out and stop at a dodge dealerThanks

I am unable to offer the customer anything more then what he receivedAs I stated previously everything worked at safety inspection and deliveryCustomer also signed the AS/IS agreement and didn't purchase a warrantyCustomer was told to bring the vehicle back and we would repair at no cost to themThey didn't want to bring it back so they just went and had it repairedWe DO NOT pay other service facilities we have of our ownThe customer chose to have it fixed without bringing it to usWe have no proof that the A/C didn't work either because we never got the chance to inspect itBecause the customer did what they wanted there is nothing else we can offer we already tried

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]The issue on my vehicle started within the first week of purchase and the priblem was the sane for the months I had the vehicleThe problem was always the same everytime I brought the vehicle in and they could never fix itI was told on several occassions if I did not feel safe they would trade the vehicle out and that was all a lieNot only did I have to drive every week to the dealership for repairs on the same on going issues but the very next day they said my vehicle was done my engine light came back onNobody ever returns my calls when I am told they will and when you do speak to someone they are extremely rudeAll iever get are lies from them if I am on the highway with my child or alone and I cant not accelerate that is not safe one bit! And they can not fix the problemAnd I was told since I am basically threatening them by filing a complaint with the Revdex.com and the state attorney general why should they help meThis place is very unprofessional and they do not have good mechanics they go through them like waterI should be able to get a trade for the same value or my back on my downpaymentThey are not willing to help at all I have saved voicemails from several employees to keep this issue a secret and not to tell anyoneAlso when asked what kind of vehicle I would want as a trade I let them know either an SUV or a pick up truck and if it had a tow package that would be a plusI did not need to have a bigger vehicle or any of that but I didnt want a piece of crap either I want a safe vehicleAnd of course seeing how the jeep only has miles on it I did not want a car with 150,milesI also spoke with the financing company and they told me they information that I have been given is falseThey said that the only thing they need is the vehicle paid off and with the purchase price of the car being 9,and me only owing 5,and I also put 5,down the dealership would pay that balance off and I was eligible for a new loan through them if Ultimate ride would trade the car outI was also told that I was not required to pay another down payment that it is up to the dealership if they want a down payment but CAC (financing company) doesn't require a down paymentThe dealership told me they would loose money if they did the trade even if the vehicle was the same value as my original purchase Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I understand that you can't know if the car's fuel gauge will be accurate before the car leaves the lot, but when trying to fix this issue you created more issues with the carYou had to replace the radiator and that was done wrong because we ended up having to install an intercoolerYou also tried fixing the fuel gauge which was done wrong and caused a gas leakWhen the car was taken to Matthews Tire they had issues just trying to get the parts you tried working on off We did contact you when issues arose and you didn't send us awayThe point here is that we did not you doing work on the car after the fact you "tried" fixing itYou created more issues with the car when you did work on it and we wanted it fixed properlyWe do appreciate the offers you gave us to have you fix this problems, but we did not have the time and money to keep running back to Oshkosh every weekThe car is fixed and running fine now after we paid too much money to have the repairs doneWe hope that we can come to an agreement with this issueCan you meet us half way at least with the repair costs we had to have done by Matthew's Tire?
