UFC Gym - Beaverton

I contacted UFC online at the end of February for information regarding a membership. The General Manager, Austin, texted me back and I told him I would get back to him. I called on February 28th to discuss a membership with him. I told him the whole entire situation with my medical issues and he assured me that the UFC gym @ $50.00 a month was suitable for a beginner. and that it would be $100.0 for first and last, then 50 a mo. on the 28th. I verbally agreed and gave him my card number. He was to set an appt with a trainer for the following Sat @ 11am. Appt was never set, I called and made my own appt for 4 pm. I was not given any paperwork, no review of policy and signed no contract. After my ap appt. I realized that this was NOT for beginners. I called Austin to cancel, where he verbally informed me that it was already too late to cancel and receive a refund. I gave up the argument and said just cancel my membership. I then texted the number and again said to cancel. Austin made no attempt to contact me after that point. He did not cancel though he said he would. I was charged again on 03/28. when I called to ask why they said they would look into it and call me back. No call came so I called them back again. I was then transferred to the Manager, which I found out was Austin. He laughed and said I needed to come in and give a written cancelation on a contract I never saw or signed. I told him he never said that before, he said he would cancel it. He lied and said he told me that. I reminded him I have never seen or signed any contract. He laughed again and said there was no above him I could speak with and I now had to come and fill out a cancelation. He is a fraud who abuses his position to take advantage of people. He should be fired.

I have emailed ***@ufcgym.com & ***@ufcgym.com multiple times requesting a cancellation since July. They responded asking what location I was referring to and I responded same day. They never responded after I asked to cancel my membership. I have the emails and screenshots of my bank account and the email thread. They have charged over $150.00 since I repeatedly requested my cancellation. They are refusing to cancel the most recent transaction and even the local gym has now gotten involved to see if they can get a hold of the corporate office.
