I am responding to the complaint filed against my business by Mr. [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] came to my shop about 1 month ago complaining about some work that we had done back in April. He said that he had brought us a starter and told us he needed us to put it into his [redacted] because his car wouldn’t...

start.. We did not diagnose the problem with the starter, he did.  I had asked him to show me the receipt so I could see what we had done to his vehicle. He didn’t have it on him and just went on about what we had done and not fixed his problem.  I asked him to go home, find the receipt and bring it back to me so I could review it. If we overcharged him, I would certainly refund him, but without the receipt I couldn’t do anything.His tone was very disrespectful to me and my workers while he was at my shop. He was threatening me and I didn’t feel comfortable with him on my property. I called the Police and had him escorted off. He is making false accusations and until he provides the proof of what we did, I am not able to refund him.
