My appointment was in March 2019. I had described to Gina R in a text with pictures what I was looking for PRIOR to my appointment. I told her after the service that it was not what I expected. Her response was that she thought it looked beautiful. Prior to and during my appointment, I asked for cooler blonde "baby lights" which by definition are small ribbons of color and allow for natural/base color to show throughout. My natural color is dark/ashy blonde. The pictures I had text her prior to my appointment-and that we looked at together-supported what I was asking for. She encouraged me to do more of the ribbons of highlights throughout my hair than I originally asked for. In all the pictures we looked at together, you could clearly see how dark the roots/base were and I had been very clear with her that I was comfortable with my natural color throughout-for both future maintenance and cost reasons. And I just wanted to have a "sun kissed" look. At no point did I ever show her a picture of an all over cool blonde and say this is what I want my hair color to look like. Nor did she show me a picture of an all over cool blonde and I agreed to it. Yet I left with an all over cool blonde effect with very little of my natural color remaining. In fact, she commented on how the toner she used seemed to have changed my natural color (what was remaining of it). When I shared my grievance in more detail with Gina the next morning, she did not apologize for not providing the service requested (she offered an apology for how I felt about it-not an acceptance of any responsibility for it). She did not offer to fix it so that I could have what I asked for, and she most certainly did not offer to refund part or all of what I paid. She stated that she gave me a very natural color that was seamless. I found her response to be lacking in accountability, humility, and basic integrity, professionalism.

I am rejecting this response because:
While that may be your policy, this was my first hair color appointment with you and that policy was not shared with me at any point in our discussions. And, now, after all of our exchanges - and this sly response to my Revdex.com complaint - I have no reason to feel comfortable coming back to your salon for additional services. A person who is unable to show any accountability and who has no humility is not trustworthy as far as I am concerned. I choose not to do business with such individuals. And I would not subject myself to further harm or unpleasant experience/results.
I considered uploading the texts we exchanged in order to prove that you did not at any point tell me that you would fix what I was unhappy with - and that instead you simply defended your skills and the results. But you know that already, and telling you that did no good. I had hoped to spare others from having similar experiences by making this complaint-but, while my complaint still stands, I am disengaging at this time.
