This mover damaged several pieces of furniture during the move. They say I need to fill out a claim form. I have called 6 times asking for the form. The still will not send it to me. I feel they are ignoring me hoping I will go away.
I received a call from *** yesterday afternoon, 6/4 that he not received the claim information. I apologized and said I would email him the claim letter and form today. I located on our part-time office persons desk a note someone had taken requesting a claim form be sent and advised Mr *** of that. Apologized again and assured him I would email it to him. It was sent yesterday and does not show as undelivered, so I am assuming he has received it.
We have a customer service report that indicates two items listed as having new conditions noted at the time of the move, not several pieces.
Should Mr *** decide to file a written claim for damage with us, our liability to him is minimum carriers liability of $.30/lb per article that he signed for at the beginning of his move.
The call I answered yesterday is the first was made aware of his request.

I am rejecting this response because:I have made several calls to the company to get this resolved. Also, I only discovered the damage in 2 items before the movers left, and discovered more a couple days later. I made pro movers aware of this on my second call, when they again promised to send me a claim form.

Not sure why the response was rejected. Upon talking to Mr *** for the first time regarding his claim of damage issue I emailed our claim letter and the requested claim form to him. An offer of resolution will be made once a written claim form has been received. I think I have attached both emailed letter and claim form.
Our paperwork indicates Mr *** paid $576.00 for our services. Pro movers will acknowledge and process the written claim within 30 days. Until the claim is received there is no further action required. Again I apologize if the earlier request for a claim form were not promptly responded to.
