First of all I want to thank the customer and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that may have been caused as a result of her transaction at our Gibson locationWe are happy to do whatever it takes from our side to assist her She brought the issue up to us that she was charged $
instead of $7.24. Upon becoming aware of the penny difference, we immediately refunded the full amount of $for her and making her entire purchase complimentaryWe did not rerun the transaction for $7.24. We assumed at that point that the issue had been addressedUpon learning about the situation with her bank, we are again happy to work with her, if she would allow us, and contact her bank on her behalf with an objective of convincing the bank to reverse any overdraft charges that they may have placed on her account. We obviously cannot promise the outcome. The bank will make the final decision. We are on her side and can always try We have tried reaching out to the customer at the information she provided but did not get a responseShe is welcome to provide us the bank information so we can try to contact them As another gesture of goodwill, independent of the bank’s decision, we plan to mail her a check, at the address that she provided, of $75/-. The check is for her even if the bank decides to reverse the overdraft chargesWe want to reassure her that we are in business because of our customers. Our customer’s come first in everything. She should always feel welcome in our storesWe once again thank the customer for informing us of the facts and helping us in addressing her situation.
