While my vehicle was under supervision of Twenty 4 Seven Recovery, my personal belongings that were in the vehicle were damaged. Not only the negligence of the company shows but as does it's professionalism. Among these items were; a *** hat that is now beyond recognition, Redhead backseat gun sling, that was either cut or broken. (Could have been unbuckled) While this is upsetting, most of all that was destroyed was medical documents and veteran documents from the VA, which included my *** While I was calling the company to resolve the issue, a lady who insisted that her name was unimportant, was very combative in her tone and highly condescending. She acted as if her character was on the line, in disbelief that my personal property was damaged.
Replacement I would like to receive compensation for the personal belongings destroyed and for the time and effort I was deprived of while working with the Veteran's Affairs. (DD214, Medical Documents, Education Documents)
Customers items were all placed inside a bag as we do on all vehicles recovered. The hat shows to be smashed near flat on the dash of the truck and sun dried from sitting on the dash. The customers paperwork was placed inside the bag along with the rest of the items inside the truck. As we all know leather doesnt just break it has to be cut or very worn out to fall apart which leads me to let someone know there were pieces of the leather laying in the floorboard of the truck. We take alot of pride in our job but seem to catch alot of negative comments only because someone isnt happy with the vehicle being recovered and instead of being mad at themselves they get mad at our company for doing our job. The customer also cursed the lady out on the phone and called her multiple explicit names that were very uncalled for and inappropriate. That lady whom happens to be my mother will not be talked to that way by any man and I will let that be known up front. There are of course two sides to the story from which the initial party did not disclose how rude and hateful he was.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have no issue with the fact that my vehicle was recovered. Here we are again at the Revdex.com because this company owner wants to spread allegations around without concern. What a childish remark. My issue is the lack of concern for people's personal property. Allegations aren't nice on anyone's side. When on the phone I misspoke and said harness instead of strap. I'm not talking about "a leather harness for horses" like your mother claimed, I'm referring to a Redhead over the seat gun straps that buckle to the seat. You are correct, they indeed look like they were ripped or broken.
