I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint I[redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I was told at the time I picked up my truck that I did get $400 off the labor as a military disc. As for the kit, thats the main issue. I was told everything would be in the kit. And since I have no way of checking out the kit contents, I have to believe the technicians. Yes we needed to get back on the road. And as we were paying. someone remarked that things have been slow. So that even makes me feel like I was taken more. I also told [redacted] when we talked about the $7500 est, that someone else said it probably was a pump.

This is in response to the complaint filed by [redacted] First let me express my surprise to this complaint being filed. I personally spoke with the [redacted], submitted their application for the Ford Service Credit Card which would allow them to pay 6 months interest free and they seem...
to be sincerely happy with the outcome.[redacted] our Service Writer wrote an estimate for the [redacted] for approximately $11000.00, (please keep in mind that an estimate is a starting point). [redacted] said after speaking wit[redacted] he went back over the estimate, talked to the technician and worked out some discounts on the parts, he knew the [redacted]ere traveling and wanted to help get them back on their way. [redacted] then called [redacted] back to give him the new estimate with the discounts totaling approximately $7500.00, [redacted] agreed to have the repairs completed and ask [redacted] to try and keep the repairs under $7500.00, [redacted] said he would do what he could. We write up estimates to the best of our knowledge but with major repairs it is hard to know every part needed or other issues that may arise. In this case there were some parts not included in the main kit needed to complete the repairs plus sales tax. I send my apology to [redacted] and wish he would have expressed his concern at the time he picked up his vehicle and we could have explained this personally to him. I understand that no one wants to run into such a major repair as the [redacted]xperienced.Turnpike Ford, Inc. has already discounted the parts and labor for this extensive repairs and regret that [redacted] is upset.
