Review: After months of discussion with this firm we had a scheduled appointment from out of town. We met for several hours to make preliminary furniture selections subject to our approval of the order, which was only hand written and not provided in detail, and subject to the owner visiting our (under construction) home to render a professional opinion as to appropriateness of the preliminary selections. This meeting occurred July 26,2013, at Turn West premises and extended into after closing hours where the owner offered beer and wine. This business meeting was conducted with myself, my fiancé and the owner, [redacted]. The check was provided by us then but it was agreed it was not to be cashed until after we received and agreed to the paperwork and pricing for the order which was promised to be provided the next week. Instead, we got no paperwork and the owner immediately proceeded to cash the check. On Friday, August 16, having no paperwork and being told the pricing would be higher because she made a mistake, we requested our money back. The owner has been rude, unprofessional, has hung up on us, later placed a harassing call to us, and will not calmly work to resolve the problem. She now refuses to take calls or respond to emails or texts and we fear our money will never be seen. Furthermore, there is a 10 week lead time so time is of the essence and we need our money back to place the order elsewhere. This woman tries to intimidate, harass, and refuses to cooperate knowing she has our money. I know we should have used a credit card to provide some recourse but we were begged not to and put in an uncomfortable situation as we had all invested time. We agreed to do so after being offered an additional discount to pay by cash...big mistake on our part.

This woman is arrogant, rude and even called my fiancé to suggest she should leave me and then hung up on her!!!!!!! What kind of proprieter does this? Unbelieveable experience. While we were in the establishment her dogs urinated and defficated in the showroom. We feel foolishly duped and harmed, not too mention out a lot of time and money and we have to start over with furnishings now not being available when our home is complete. This are all facts, strange as they may sound.Desired Settlement: An apology in writing for harassing comments and for the lost time and delay and a full and immediate refund, as well as a no further disparagement promise from the owner. This is the minimum.
