Review: I received a letter stating something about upcoming changes to a payroll card provided by my employer. I never received a payroll card and I have not worked in years. I called to find out if this company was in fact using fraudulent tactics to gain my personal information for their own personal use. When I called to find out about the nature of their business and what employer they had me listed under, they refused to provide me any information unless I provided them with my social security number and home telephone number. I refused. I asked them to provide me with the information they had on file and I would confirm or deny if it was correct. I refuse to provide such personal information to a company that I now nothing about. The letter was the the first time I ever heard about this company. There are too many people in this world that try to scam people out of their personal information. I want to know who they are, how did they get my information, under what employer do they show I received this card, how long has this card been in use, and what area are they using it in so I can file a police report. The company address on the letter is listed as such: TSYS Prepaid Attention: [redacted] Signed by [redacted]Desired Settlement: Statement of account and the name and address of employer that issued the card.
