TS of Route 23

I have a back injury that occurred on February 8, 2018 and may take 6 months to a year to heal. According to the written contract, it may be cancelled under medical circumstances that prevent me from attending class for at least 6 months. The business has granted me a cancellation of my membership as requested. Outside of the written contract, I have a legally binding verbal agreement with the business that I may freeze my membership at any time for a minimum of 1 week. While the written contract states my membership has ended December 22, 2017, the verbal agreement has extended my membership to April 6, 2018. I have text message evidence that the business recognizes this extension as valid. Because of the cancellation and membership extension, I am due for a refund of $378.72 ($2188 per year, $42.08 per week, and 9 weeks left in my membership). The business is violating our verbal agreement and denying me my right to a refund.
